Are there any bicycle computers that track, speed, distance, cadence, and average speed, that cost less than 100 dollars?

So my first BJJ competition is this Saturday and I was wondering if you guys have any advice for me. Granted, I've only been training for 3 months and I don't expect to do spectacularly but I figured that the experience would be invaluable. Any tips would be appreciated. Also, how do you guys manage to use your judo in no gi? I'm having trouble adjusting to the grips.

Jeet Kune Do

How do I learn jeet kune do? I don't buy into any of those money-whoring dojo schemes, and I don't live near any gyms, anyway. I'm thinking I might just start a fight club, and try to go off the philosophy of it.

Show us your gear and show us the best hills you bomb. (Also, if you live in illinois, tell me the best hills since I can't find good ones.)

Ran into some legit crazy today

Today after my workout (/fit/izen) I went to the university library to do some work. I sat down beside this guy on the computers and started eating my post workout bananas and pears. The guy beside me started making very agitated and aggressive movements. He even started grunting/growling and slammed his elbow into the desk. I ignored it at first but he kept growling and grunting so I asked him "Hey man, are you ok?" He ripped out his earbuds violently and aggressively and looked at me with absolute rage. He looked like he wanted to kill me. Through gritted teeth he replies "Are YOU ok, MAN?" I smile to try and defuse the situation and say "Yeah I'm fine you just seem upset, so I was just checking on you" To which he replies "Maybe I'll check on YOU someday" I said "Ok, ya was just checking man". I turn back to my computer and decide to log out and leave, this guy seems legitimately crazy and very aggressive. Now, I have been doing judo for nearly 4 years, and I was bigger and likely stronger than this guy. I was pretty much expecting him to attack me while I was packing up to leave. Is this guy having a schizo episode? Did I trigger him somehow? Should I have reported him to the staff or university security? Did handle the situation appropriately?

Unicycle Thread

Not seen one in a while. So to start this off: >When did you get your first unicycle? >What tricks can you do on it? >What's your setup? I started this week and can nearly pull off a 180 and freestyle mount (don't know what the trick is called).

The top martial arts that are close enough to be complete; Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, Iwama-ryu Aikido, Hung Gar, Choy Li Fut, Bersilat/Pencak Silat, Kalaripayattu & Hwa Rang Do. Wing Chun is not a complete form of kung fu so against styles like Hung Gar and Choy Li Fut even a good Wing Chun stylist could lose to those specific styles.

Can we have one of these? Anyone here who practices flatland? I have been thinking for some time to start practising, but I will probably have to start solo. Is it posible to learn alone? How should I go around buying a decent cheap bike for the begining? Some videos because why not: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YivhsTsJO_Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ1LeMqAjlY

I need some help please. I'm trying to start practicing a martial art with a somewhat strong lean towards striking arts for now but I'm not that picky what as long as it works. I'm looking through what is near to me and there is a lot of things I haven't heard of I'm unsure if it would work in self defense or in amateur competition in mma which may be an interest in the future. I have been looking and unfortunately I have been mostly unable to find which of these styles are functional. Only posts about moms deciding what style the children should use. I would very much appreciate any assistance you would be willing to offer me. Ryukodo Yoshukai Karate Shotokan Karate Shorin-ryu karate Danzan Ryu Jujitsu Tae Kwon Do Toyama Batto Jutsu Hapkido Pencak Silat I understand that the person teaching the style is crucial and I will be looking at each of the coaches credentials as the thread goes on. I think I might have found the place for learning a grappling martial art seems very qualified learned from Rolls Gracie and head of the state tournament organization. I'm aware of kyokushin karate's effectiveness but I know nothing of the other styles. Should I skip over looking at the styles listed above? Is there some in the list worth looking into further? I'm already looking into boxing and muay thai in my area comparing the instructers qualifications, reviews and cost

If you could put aside everything else and do martial arts full-time, what would your training schedule look like? M: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), Push Hands (night) T: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), TKD (night) W: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), Judo (night) R: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), TKD (night) F: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), BJJ (night) Sa: Tai Chi (mornings), BJJ (night) Su: Tai Chi (mornings) Too bad that would be like at least $400/mo and I have no money or time.

Apparently the chess world championship is neither a sport nor something international and don't belong in /sp/ or /int/. Let's have a Chess thread on /asp/. twitch dot tv/chessnetwork http://www.sochi2014.fide.com/live-games
