Guys I'm fighting December 13th in a muay thai smoker. How do i get conditioned specificly for this? My skill set is good so no need to worry, but I need iron man conditioning, Ive been running 4 miles in the morning and training in the gym 3 hours a day Give me tips or a training regime. I'm 5'7 and weigh 130, I'm not terribly out of shape but a bit on the skinny side. What should I add? What should I do? >pic related, It's me

Wrestling Is No Longer Entertaining

When did you stop wrestling, deathcl/asp/s? I couldn't bring myself to watch it any more, in 2007, when The Family Man died of natural causes. ;_;

I need some help please. I'm trying to start practicing a martial art with a somewhat strong lean towards striking arts for now but I'm not that picky what as long as it works. I'm looking through what is near to me and there is a lot of things I haven't heard of I'm unsure if it would work in self defense or in amateur competition in mma which may be an interest in the future. I have been looking and unfortunately I have been mostly unable to find which of these styles are functional. Only posts about moms deciding what style the children should use. I would very much appreciate any assistance you would be willing to offer me. Ryukodo Yoshukai Karate Shotokan Karate Shorin-ryu karate Danzan Ryu Jujitsu Tae Kwon Do Toyama Batto Jutsu Hapkido Pencak Silat I understand that the person teaching the style is crucial and I will be looking at each of the coaches credentials as the thread goes on. I think I might have found the place for learning a grappling martial art seems very qualified learned from Rolls Gracie and head of the state tournament organization. I'm aware of kyokushin karate's effectiveness but I know nothing of the other styles. Should I skip over looking at the styles listed above? Is there some in the list worth looking into further? I'm already looking into boxing and muay thai in my area comparing the instructers qualifications, reviews and cost

If you could put aside everything else and do martial arts full-time, what would your training schedule look like? M: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), Push Hands (night) T: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), TKD (night) W: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), Judo (night) R: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), TKD (night) F: Tai Chi (mornings), Boxing (afternoon), BJJ (night) Sa: Tai Chi (mornings), BJJ (night) Su: Tai Chi (mornings) Too bad that would be like at least $400/mo and I have no money or time.

Apparently the chess world championship is neither a sport nor something international and don't belong in /sp/ or /int/. Let's have a Chess thread on /asp/. twitch dot tv/chessnetwork http://www.sochi2014.fide.com/live-games

How do you become successful in the USA as a fighter? 1. Win some lose some. 2. Have a little personality. 3. Go to sleep with a jewish cock in your mouth, wake up with a jewish cock in your mouth, walk around all day with a jewish cock in your mouth. (jesus was a jew) That's pretty much it. After any win always the first thing you MUST say is 'First and foremost I want to thank god for giving me this win....'

How to pick a sport?

Some backstory: When I was 16 I had an accident where I injured my knee (torn meniscus, had it sutured up instead of removed so that's good at least). I'm 18 now and I feel 95% recovered, so I wanted to get into sports again. Problem is, I don't know which one to choose so I was hoping you guys could help me out. Understandably though I want a sport with very low risk of injury because being a cripple fucking sucks ass, but at the same time I want to be challenged physically and technically. I've been thinking really hard about this lately so I've got it narrowed down a bit: >No martial arts From talking with people I hear that grappling sports are very demanding on your body and striking sports can have serious head injuries which I don't want >No field sports Should be obvious. Football/rugby/handegg have very bad statistics as far as knee injuries goes. >No indoor ball sports Tennis, squash, basketball, volleyball, floorball etc. because of reasons stated above >Preferably no monotonous sports This means running, swimming, powerlifting etc., although I'm less reluctant towards those than the ones previously mentioned. I thought about climbing for a bit but I'm 6'2 with a structure more built for rugby (wide pelvis, thick legs, wide shoulders) so I don't think I'd be very good at it. Someone help me pls >to recap: I want to participate in a sport with a low injury-rate but with significant physical and technical components. pic unrelated

i love riding my fiddy

I've rode everything there is to ride. And I mean that. But the thing that I love more then anything is my crf50 the freedom. The balance. It just releases whatever chemical that makes me happy the entire time I'm on it. Doing wheelies is a blast. I cannot wait to get a hand clutch for it as well as some used disc brakes and a bar kit. Yep.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7S66vJg7kM Thought I'd show some more breakdancing on here as I hardly see any on 4chan. This video is amazing! Even from the screenshot alone!

I was really glad when this guy got his big chance. He didn't screw up or anything, he just seems to have fallen off the radar. Various unsuccessful promos haven't helped, I think he needs to be seen as the "feed me more" Ryback. What happened? Pushed too early?

So it's early says for Lucha Underground, but what do people think of the brand new wrestling promotion? Also, the quality of the the roster and the viability of it being a long term company that can hopefully reach bigger heights.

Hey /asp/. I just knee'd a wall and managed to make a hole on it thanks to my Muay Thai training. But then the aftershock came. What else did you do on this fine day? >mfw after the pain kicks in

Amateur MMA fag here. Just landed my first flying armbar in a full contact spar. What had /asp/ done lately that made them feel awesome?
