hey guys, anyone train in Kuk Sool Won before? I'm looking to join as it seems similar to the TKD training I had as a kid, plus it encompasses a huge amount of styles and variations. Anyone had experience with it?

If my objective was simply to become the best fighter in actual, real life situations, with no regards to rules or styles or whatever, what would be my best course of action? I live in a dangerous area although people don't own weapons here and I want to be able to fuck up anyone that bothers me. Is it possible for a man to be able to take on multiple opponents at once? Does any kind of training prepare you for fights with more than one person? inb4 krav maga Is your potential ultimately determined by your size? If I'm around 5'11, will I ever be able to take on a guy who's around 6'5 and much heavier? I just want to become as strong and proficient in fighting as possible, with no regards to rules, specific styles or any limitations of that kind, just maximum efficiency to inflict the most damage to an opponent in the smallest amount of time. What is the best kind of training to achieve this?

how does one even counter such a perfect counter attack. seriously when youre on 1 leg because youve thrown some stupid engagement with a kick, a fucker just dodges spins and knocks you the fuck out. is this genuinely uncounterable without just gtfoing at the right time?

Anyone ever done it? Just take your car, drive a few hours to where there's no distractions, no civilization, and just camp and train? Or do hardmode, take some survival gear, rock climb a mountain and train at the top until you're ready to go back down.

Most people who train martial arts join a club or dojo or whatever. They have teachers who give them proper (sometimes) guidance and they go from there. But what about people who don't care to practice a single or few styles? What about people who want to be completely self-taught? Now, one key thing still needed is actual practice vs. other opponents, in order to properly learn what you did wrong and go from there. So sparring or even matches are a must. At the beginning, didn't every Martial Art form this way? People thinking it up and developing it through trial and error. I ask because it would be intriguing to do it myself instead of the traditional way. Incorporating techniques and moves from anything that you thought was effective and trying to combine it all into an effective, all-encompassing style of your own. Thoughts on this?

It's been confirmed that Cole will now be joining the Main Event announce team as well as his usual duties, so if you thought you could escape his clearly amazing announce skills, you were sadly mistaken.

What is the best place to watch instructional and/or entertaining (not so instructional) videos of military members making use of their hand-to-hand combat skills. (Particularly street fighting)
