This might seem a bit onorothodox but I am in kind of a stressful situation. Long story short I work for a bakery that makes this german fruitcake crap. Myself, and 1 other dude (who is only 19) make these during the holidays together. We both found out after making and selling about 1000 of them that myself and this kid both forgot to put diced dates in them. Now the cards and boxes this shit comes with say dates are in the ingredients. My boss was histerical and crying telling me they're all going to have to be recalled and that I "will never realise how big of a deal this is" and that I "ruined the entire season" simply because we forgot to put about 3lbs of dates in each batch (of which 1 batch is over 120lbs). How much shit am I really in? Is my employer going to have to recall all the ones that were sold out of the 1000 made? I thought food recalls were for mislabling allergens or for having infected food?

Hey /ck/ I'm cooking for my flat tomorrow to get rid of some of my food that's about to go off. What do you think of this recipe? >Roast vegetables Butternut squash Onion chopped into 1/8ths Small sweet peppers (red and yellow) Olive oil Paprika Salt and pepper >lean bacon lardons (i.e. High meat to fat ratio) Cooked in a wok with extra oil Drained and patted dry before serving >side sauce thing thin sliced celery and brocolli Steamed for a few minutes Then finished in a pan with butter and chopped spring onions With some lemon juice to finish it off. Thoughts, I've never cooked for most of these people before. Pic related, trying to think of what I could cook.
