Chefs of /ck/ (and others too), I come to you in desire of your opinion. Basically, my friend and I have been in discussion about the qualities of a head chef. He has been in the industry for going on 5 years now, and in response to my saying that this chef we saw on YouTube during service as being an unnecessarily rude, arrogant, pushy and personal asshole, stated that "you have to be like that in this industry". I disagreed, and in my time in the workforce, typically the more successful leaders and managers I've served have been open, firm, calm, levelheaded but powerful and confident enough to command a group of people. But none of those leaders were kitchen leaders. Am I being a faggot? Do other jobs not compare to the high traffic, high stress level of being a chef? I just don't think you should be an asshole to your crew. If they fuck up an order, remind them that they fucked up and not to fuck up again, but if you attack them and insult them that's not productive leadership, that's middle school. Tl;dr what is the ideal chef like?

What's the best way to add eggs to cup of noodles? I just usually drop it raw and then pour boiling water over it, then like wait a little while it gets poached/steamed, and mix it in. i also know of the teardrop method where you just wisk it and then pour it in strings, but im too lazy for that. whats the best way
