I was curious to know if anyone else reduces the amount of food/calories they eat daily so that they can save money to buy quality/really done up stuff? Like I won't eat all day but then I go to a restaurant and buy organic ginger/balsamic duck wings with herb de Provence waffle fries; or like I will for two or three days eat a one 1$ dollar slice of pizza around the corner but then go to a nice sit down and spend 40$ on a entree the coming Friday; or fast for a few days and spend 80$ on food and drinks in a trendy bar? Maybe its a major city thing but somehow everything works out for me; my physicals show I am in good to excellent health; my doctor said I am basically intermittent fasting and following a feast-famine like diet. My friends just say eat out less and stop being so stuck up on ingredients but I mean I am in a major foodie place and there are so many amazing/high quality things to eat now coupled with the fact that I don't want to get fat for eating a 3k calorie meal so why change the process? Anyone else do this or something similar

Just took my Baby Swiss and Mild Cheddar biscuits out and they are perfect. Slightly doughy in center for a little contrast in texture. Seasoned with garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, fennel seed, seasoned salt and cayenne pepper. Brushed egg wash on the top, 20 mins at 450 later, perfection. There is a secret cold cut layered on top the cheese layer related to fennel thats not sausage. Can anon guess?

Is the Gaba setting on Zojirushi worth shelling the extra money? I mean it only soak the rice in 2 hours so I doubt there will be much difference since when making Gaba rice they usually soak it in warm water up to 3 days. What do you guys think?
