Sup /ck/? So I planned to make some chili in my slow cooker tomorrow, and I was taking inventory on what I had to find out what I need, and I noticed I was out of chili powder that I normally use. Now, I could just Google some spices someone uses and make that, but I want to know what you guys typically use for spices when you make chili. Leave your arguments about beans at the door, this isn't the thread for that.

Seeing that other anon's takoyaki thread got me thinking. I haven't used my abelskiver pan nearly enough. I need to make some awesome balls. I prefer savory to sweet, most of the time. I've made takoyaki, squid and chorizo balls (for tapas), scallion and smoked salmon balls, and lemon ricotta balls. I want to make some today, I think, or tomorrow. Give me some ideas for different Amazeballs and I'll post pics when I make them.

So I've heard that broccoli is good for your manliness by reducing the effect of estrogen. So I'd like to cook some. I'm not very good at it though. I grew up with broccoli served boiled and unseasoned and I hated it. What's the best way to cook broccoli while preserving its nutritional potential?
