I am 19 and about to move out and live on my own for the first time. I have no idea how to cook. That said, I'm very interested in learning how to cook well. It's a good skill to have and very useful. I don't want to be a chef, I just want to be able to cook for myself and friends maybe. Where do I start? I can make instant ramen, spaghetti, you know - easy stuff. I'm willing to put in the work to learn proper and do it right, I'd just like a point in the right direction. I'd really like to be able to make stellar hamburgers, steaks, chicken, etc. Thanks for any help!

what should i know about making a homemade pizza? I just bought pic related and a can of pastorelli pizza sauce along with some toppings. I have pretty bad experiences trying to make homemade pizza, there is always something off with the pizza dough even though i follow the directions. also, i bought some italian sausage to put on the pizza. should i brown it before i use it or put it on the pizza raw when it goes into the oven? i think i remember in chicago they put the sausage on raw

so a store in my area had pork sirloin steaks for sale 1.99/lb, and i went and bought 12 lbs (two family packs) and froze them. my question is this: i've never cooked pork sirloin... is it a 'cheap' cut of meat? what's the best way to cook it up and keep it from being dry and 'pig disgusting'.

I'm about to eat hot dogs that expired a month ago (5th of may). They're "homemade", bought them in Denmark, they've been in the fridge ever since, they did not smell bad or look funky (smelled just like "fresh" sausage), no meat discolouration etc etc. Cooking them in the oven at 180 degrees celcius for like 15-20 mins. Will I be fine, or will I die a horrible death from shitting out my innards in explosive diarrhea?
