What do you take to work for lunch? I need some ideas for vegetarian lunches that can be made either in bulk or relatively quickly. One of my jobs had a ref that serves mediocre (good for a ref) food, and its like $6/7 for a plate. The other one is in hipsterville and the cheapest thing you can get is a $13 burger. which are nice, but takes a bit out of the daily earnings... Pic unrelated.

How much beer do you drink a day ? Im starting to getting used to drink about 1.5+ litres at late afternoon until late evening. Water just doesnt do it for me. When i eat good food i want beer. I mean beer is kind of nutricious right ? Was thinking about watering down the beer so i dont have to have 5%. I weigh about 75 kilos, 1,85 m tall...btw.

Hi /ck/, Do you guys like Ghee? I like cooking with it a lot, feels like it has a warmer taste then the oily taste of butter or olive oil and a little more substance then coconut oil. I've also heard but don't really bank on the rumor that it's pretty good for you, any knowledge to back this up?

Living in the middle of Minnesota, I've heard Smörgåsbord thrown around a bit, but never till I googled it did I realize it was a product of those goddamn Scandinavians (and probably those Finns too with their fucking shitty Lutefisk). Why is cleaning a cast iron skillet with soap so bad? I scrub it every night with soap and steel wool and then run it through the dishwasher for good measure and I've never had any problems with it. Is it supposed to have some kind of long-term undesirable effects on the iron?
