Proud of your own work?

Sorry in advanced if this turns into a blog. I'm faced with a problem, i'm not proud of my design work, i'm in my second year of graphic design at university and I would say my skills as a designer are very good, but I'm restrictive as to when I want to publish my work on social media or even portfolio. its like my work with tarnish my reputation, even when i don't have a reputation to tarnish. i see work mates that proudly fly their shit designs all over Facebook but i feel worse then them, by not publishing anything at all. I used to (DeviantArt days) 7 years ago fly my shit work all over the place but now as I've grown and matured and realized the difference between good design and bad design I puckered up. don't get me wrong I like criticism in fact i encourage it, it thrills me, but i never have work to be criticized because my internal critic says no. So my question is, has anyone else has or had this problem, what steps are to take to be it love my work.

NOT a request

This is not a request. I want to know where to begin with editing faces in CS6. >how to open eyes? >where and how to use the brush tool >any other techniques to make models beautiful. Yes this pic is me, but I'm doing this to everyone in our company for advertising purposes.

So I am looking to add a disintergration effect to a picture and need some help.

So I am trying to apply a disintegration affect to a close up face. But my problem is when I went through the various steps using the liquefy tool I just stretched the face instead. I wondered if there was another way around it.

What would be your way to turn a photo into painting or give it a cel-shaded 3d look? To be honest I'm not sure what result I want to get, but I'd like it to look pretty decent and unique. I already did some experiments (one in attachment). I have a huge number of pics to edit this way.

What do you think? I was bored on a friday night, and decided to whip something up. I've only had ~5 hours to design/develop this website. Any suggestions to the design?

I'm trying to help someone put these bras on Amazon, but they're asking for an exact 85% crop of the image. Any ideas how to measure that exactly?

Hey /gd/, I'm trying to create a kickstarter for a space game I want to develop and I'm looking for people who are willing to do some loose sketches for "proof of concept" until money starts rolling in (at which point we could discuss payment). I'm new to this whole business thing, so really the ideal fit would someone who just wants to draw random spacey shit and *longshot* might make a ton of money with a start-up company/game. I'm really impressed by Karanak's (K'ars Art) drawing style in regards to spaceships, let me know if this is your thing.

I consider going to CalArts next year for master in animation/exp. animation. But I am no U.S.citizen and I don't know if it is worth paying that much money, I don't know much about that school so far. Later I want to work in the cartoon/movie industry while keeping my soul. can somebody explain shit? how stuff there works etc?

We have created a new website that has an online design studio and allows users to register and create designs, then add them to a storefront for sale. My question is, how can we get people to know about it and sign up? We need quality designs. We are offering 20% on all sales - is this a fair deal? The artist will maintain ownership of their designs. Our goal is to create a good community with great artists - and importantly, that it's free speech and for adults. All advice welcomed. Thank you in advance!
