ITT: Military training without joining the military Any recs for tradecraft training under the radar? Stuff like soldiering, commando, espionage, you name it. There's lots of practical skills, as well as mental and physical conditioning, that the military offers that I'd like to master without signing effectively signing my life away in allegiance to a country I cannot in good conscience completely endorse, let alone kill for. Any programs out there that value privacy and would be willing to teach full-time for a reasonable price?

What is wrong West? I thought you were big and strong! What about the F-22 or Eurofighter? I thought the Abrams and Challenger 2 tanks were supposedly better then our "Beefed up" T-72s! (T-90) I thought you all had more money then we did! Yet here we are, at a stand off, and you're pissing your pants at our might. How ironic.

In case you weren't aware, this is a Charlton Automatic Rifle, made by a bunch of Kiwis during World War II to turn their old Lee Enfield and Lee Metford rifles into battle rifles, supplementing their lack of machine guns. Used the same magazines as the Bren gun. Would it be possible to make your own Charlton rifle? Would it worth sacrificing a Lee Enfield for? Any other cool acts of gunsmithing?

How does /k/ deal with elitist assholes? Some people have too much time on their hands and post too much bullshit. So, internet forums get dumbfuck know-it-alls that want to teach everybody how it is. More likely, they want to prove they are superior.

Swiss arms & co petition

Hello, /k/. We've all heard about the Swiss Arms & VZ reclassifications, the 5 year amnesty bullshit we were given, Cherryl Gallant's shitty solution to it, and one of the few respectable CPC MPs finally is standing up for our right. This is our ticket to better firearms regulations, Canada. http://www.nominaterobanders.com/firearms_petition We need to all sign this. >Rescind the decision to reclassify the Swiss Arms Classic Green carbine from non-restricted to prohibited status >Decriminalize firearms possession by eliminating S. 91, and 92 of the Criminal Code. >Extensively modify and eliminate prohibited and restricted classes, including rescinding of arbitrary clauses on barrel length and caliber that classify firearms, and regulations affecting magazines. >Eliminate punitive safe storage and transport requirements. >Eliminate Chief Firearms Officers and rescind F.A. Section 58.1 We're winning the fight this time, friends. Ameribros, feel free to sign too.

So I don't know *too* much about AR's. I've wanted one for a while now and I always planed on saving up a bunch of money and geting a high-end AR from the get-go: buy once cry once kind of thing. This was all planed for the future, like 6 months to a year down the line once I saved up like $1,500 to $2,000. I really wanted to do everything right, have it assembled perfectly for my desire and have my nice optic and light and what not Anyways recently I came across an inexpensive %80 polymer lower and I decided: screw it, I'll assemble a cheapo AR now for plinking and messing around with and then later I'll assemble my high quality serious use AR. This will just be for fun and to get me acquainted with the platform before I drop $2K+. I figured I'd get it all assembled for like less than $750 and just have a mess around rifle. So I ordered the %80 polymer lower and some no-name lower half parts to begin. When the polymer lower came though it looked like this (pic related). Is this alight or should I contact the company that I bought it from? It looks like I could just straighten it out myself while I am dremeling away the white parts but still it looks like I received a imperfect product. Or is this to be expected? Is this how they often come? Should I exchange this or straighten it myself? Is this normal?

Greetings, /k/omrades! The Ukrainian government had placed you in charge of our country's military. You need to formulate the battle plan for Russian removal from the Crimea. We have roughly 129 thousand active personal and a million reservists. We have over 1 thousand 100 tanks, over 150 helicopters, over 3000 artillery pieces and over 400 SAMs complexes. Our air force has over 200 aircraft. Overall we have: 2 tank brigades, 8 mechanized brigades, 1 mechanized regiment, 2 special forces regiments, 1 airborne regiment, 2 airmobile brigades, 1 airmobile regiment, 2 aviation regiments, 3 artillery bridages, 4 engineering regiments and other supporting units. However at least a third of them are not combat ready on such short notice. NATO is not willing to help us in any way other then equipment. Your objectives: -dislodge Russian troops occupying the Crimean peninsula -prevent the Russians from attacking our country from the East. What are you orders, /k/omrades?
