Is there a better word for "routinized", as in "X had been made part of a routine"? Thanks

So apparently Taipei is (semi?-)autobiographical... Did Tao Lin ever actually post on 4chan asking for drug hookups? Did he actually go to all those readings on all those drugs? Are there videos? All the videos I see of him at readings he just looks awkward, not at all like someone peaking on ecstasy.

This is a weird question, but whats the 148th word on page 170 of Bossypants by Tina Fey? It's some extra credit for a class. First edition of course.

Have a strange request. I'm trying to format my prose and expand my vocabulary into a grungier style; I generally need some words that would fit that sort of category. Some examples of words I like to use: manifest, savage, disarray, deformed, transfigure, mutate, descend, cathartic, embodiment, hectic, entropy, tribal. Hopefully you get the idea. Best usage of this hard-boiled type of vocabulary I guess would be Thompson. Help me out /lit/

Books of late that you didn't "get." I'll start: pic related. I want to say I just didn't appreciate what he was going for, but I don't even really know what he was going for. The bit about Truman Capote's author-photo was mildly interesting.

/lit/ knows words, right? I'm looking for a word that sounds like "trepid" or "turbid" but means "dangerous" or something similar. I'm pretty sure the word exists but my brain won't give me anything and google won't help either. And it's really annoying me. Thanks a bunch.

Which brave soul among us has the courage to take up my MOBY DICK AND MASON & DIXON BACK TO BACK CHALLENGE, I just created out of thin air!? From reading Moby Dick and partly reading Mason & Dixon, I like to find similarities between the two. Mason and Dixon has been called the Moby Dick of our time by many. I came up with the idea that reading them back to back would be an awesome experience but I myself am not worthy of such a challenge, I can only create it. To anyone willing to take up the challenge, enjoy yourself! & possibly share your experience on goodreads /lit/ group when you're done.

I recently finished The Stranger, I was very content with the novella and would like some suggestions on where to go next in Camus' works.
