I'm writing a story with two men and two women who each end up having sex with all of the other characters in the story. How do I write a sex scene if I have never experienced one irl? Especially how do I write a gay sex scene if I have never experienced it irl? I imagine it would in some ways be easier than a male/female or female/female scene because I'm more familiar with the anatomy. Any help on telling a virgin how to write sex scenes is welcome.

Which is the best book about Bicycles? Have you read Mark Twain's essay about them?

How the fuck do you actually start a story? I have the general plot, the characters, the problems they're going to face, some surprises for the reader, climax, and other details about the setting. But how do I actually get the ball rolling? Every time I've tried starting the first chapter, it just sounds awful and I start over again. What do?

Anyone here ever work for starbucks? I'm writing a novel about how fake everything in modern life is. One of my characters Is a girl who works as a Barista at Starbucks. At first her job at Starbucks was just something for her to do because she's a struggling actress and that seems like a typical job for a girl in her early twenties. I've decided to add conversation with her and another female character. (My book is horrible sexist so I like the idea of passing the Bechdale test, there is already one other 2 woman conversation but they do talk about men, just not the male characters specifically) So I just want to know anything phony or fucked up about working at starbucks, like how two different drinks are basically the same thing or how asinine the training for the job is. I'm not a coffee drinker so I don't really know much about the subject. Thanks.

Who is your favorite character from Catch-22 ? Mine is Major Major. The chapter named after him may be the funniest thing I've ever read.
