CT Fast Trak is introducing a revolutionary technological marvel on the bus fleet that they will be using. Their new engines will run on the tears of the Connecticut taxpayers.

Considering purchasing this '92 Trek 2300. Am aware of the bonding issues with early CF composite frames but am intrigued by the low price and quality components. The fork is not original, which leads me to believe that it has either been in a collision or swapped out for carbon at some point and subsequently swapped back for the sale. Given the risk, and assuming the frame is structurally sound what would you pay?

My car charger for my phone has a led light that's on all the time. I don't run any risk of draining my battery if I leave it in for a couple of days without driving, correct? I know it's a dumb question, but I just wanted to be sure.

Can we have a balanced, unbiased and completely objective thread discussing why triathlon bikes are generally so unaesthetic, bordering on hideous?

Hi guys, I'll be touring in Europe this summer and I'm wondering if there are any unpaved back roads that actually lead anywhere? Obviously there are a lot of bike paths and I'm familiar with the Eurovelo's, In (western) USA it is possible to travel vast distances on fire roads/ logging roads. I am curious if there is anything similar in Europe. Specifically Germany. How would I go about getting maps for said routes? Thanks for your time.

So I'm looking around trying to figure out what to blow my tax return on and I came across this bike on Ebay. The chromed stays & fork, lugs, and internal cable routing is super sexy. Looking at the specs though, it is 650B front tire and 700c rear. Why would anyone do this? It makes it slope down like a track bike but it has brakes and gears so it is not a track bike. Can anyone tell me wft is going on with this build?

Top is a shitty sidepull brake that came with my bicycle (27 inch wheels) that flexes a lot and isn't that good. Bottom is a long reach DIA-COMPE BT410. I guess it's a dual pivot brake, right? Is it worth making the switch?
