HOW OLD IS THIS BIKE?

Hey /n/, I purchased a rebuilt bike from a local shop. The back wheel and chain were new, it's on a steel frame, and it has a nice patina to it (spray painted over). Front insignia says "Graco". Has a blue and red shield. Was just wondering if anyone could provide some info. Search engine doesn't give shit man. Will post pictures of bike and marijuana in return :) .

So I guess I'll start the next /gag/ thread, since the old one 404'd. I'll start off with a story. >be me >day of the practical test (for PPL) >fly from home airport to other nearby airport where the test is to be >land safely, find my way to the FBO >spot a place to park the airplane >start going over to that spot >there is a chain link fence against the tie-down areas >see guy in a car, waiting for me to pass >he's watching me >get the sense that he might be the DPE >very carefully maneuver the plane to the markings, then start to turn >suddenly feel a jolt and hear a loud sound ;_; >turn off engine >open plane door, embarrassed, thinking the guy watching me is my DPE >he says "good thing you stopped when you did!" >I ask if he is [DPE's name] >he's not >I ask if he saw what I hit (I though the propeller had hit a rock or something) >he shows me the end of the wing had touched the fence >I see the strobe light broken off and a scratch in the paint >could have been much worse, but still feeling ashamed / embarrassed >guy holds the fence back so I can push the plane back >say thanks, climb into plane again, start it up and park the plane in the proper position >now a little late at this point >grab all my documents and run into the FBO >do oral exam, then the flying portion >pass >fly home with pilot's license >that mixture of good and bad feels

>Got first job at 22 >Had to ride a few miles to work because don't want one/getting a drivers incense/car isn't a realistic option >rear hub on my piece of shit roadmaster collapses >I ACTUALLY PAY A LBS FOR A NEW REAR WHEEL OR WHAT THE FUCK EVER >even tough they told me I should just get a bike from walmart for $80 >Chain breaks like, the next day >Now I have a ugly but slightly less shitty step-through frame huffy >Both were given to me by my friends parents >I get into road bikes because I like "the look" >By that I mean im going fucking bald and since i'll always have a helmet on maybe I can finally be happy with the way I look again, even for just a few hours a day. >eventually get a 201X windsor from Craigslist for $200 >It has a defective frame (two small cracks on the headtube) >I see this and get it away since it fits me well and I liked the color >I figure since i'm skinny as fuck and as long as I don't sprint on it or hit potholes, it'll be fine. >Don't commute on it that much. >Friend gets me some road shoes for my birthday >They're womens shoes but Idgaf because i liked them and I have narrow feet (pic related) >get some spdsl pedals/cleats >never use them because I feel like I need the rest of the "gear" to go with them >I start to use my windsor to get to my bosses other business because it's a bit further and so much easier than on my huffer puffer

I'm trying to get back into cycling and I've got some money now. I never invested much into my bike or cycling clothes or anything even though I rode enough to warrant it. Would it be a better, more cost effective idea to just build up a second bike little by little instead of dropping money on a complete bike. I was thinking I could just add the components to my old bike until I lastly buy a frame and put the second one all together. Pic related my old sturdy and reliable

How much would I be missing out if I went with a Sony Action Cam or some other Gopro thing instead of just getting a Gopro? Pic related it's the Sony HDR-AS100V which is supposed to have better IQ than the GoPro Hero3+ Black but since no one's buying them I could get one for $200

So, I was watching Monkey Business, one of the old Cary Grant movies, and this vehicle shows up on the scene where Cary and Marilyn Monroe's character are taking a drive in his new car when he is under the effect of the drug. And so I saw this vehicle and I have no idea what it is, so I come to you guys, what is it?

Hey /n/, I saw you didn't lock up your bike, so I bolted it to mine and left my phone number. Have a great day!

Hey /n/. Do you faggots use permanent hardcase boxes on your bikes or is everyone using all kinds of removable textile containers? I was thinking about buying one for my commuter because of convenience, to lock my helmet or put in some unexpected groceries without worries etc. My LBS and all online stores only have pic related M-Wave box made out of shitty plastic and shitty lock. Can you reccomend me something else? I was thinking something along the lines of pelican case-style box with better lock or which could be used with padlock of my choice. I wouldnt be against niggerrigging maybe some moped case on my panniers or something that works and is somehow secure. Disregard looks, disregard aero, disregard price, practicality is the priority here. Share suggestions and experiences.

What should be my first upgrade on a road bike to improve performance? I have an aluminum 105 bike. I'm thinking either a crabon frame or wheelset, what do you guys think?

What do you people think of this bike (Cannondale Hooligan 2014)? Has anyone had any experience with it? What's it like? Is it worth £700? Should I buy?

>Tokyu moves down the tracks at Shibuya station to use the new underground line overnight in just 3 hours and 25 minutes by having 1,200 workers work at the same time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIbZqqLra9k&sns=fb Can someone provide more background to this? I know they had major construction to link Toyoko line to Fukutoshin line, but I didn't know it was done overnight with no service downtime. It also looks like the tracks were already on some sort of movable platform so that they could use hydraulic jacks to slowly lower it onto another set of support beams located much lower.

...Why don't bikes and trains have their own board, leaving /n/ for just aviation? just saying...
