Could I get a boat capable of sailing me around the world comfortably for less than 20K USD or should I turn down all offers of that price range and assume they're scams?

I thought this was kind of interesting with the announcement of Shimano 11 speed 5800 next year, and the concept of "trickle down" technology You can see in 2000 and 2001, the first generation of Tiagra, all tiers of Shimano parts shared the same technology, just in varying quality. This was when Campy had just released 10 speed. A year later in 2002, Shimano released the first downgraded group with the introduction of Sora thumb shifters, obviously a jab at Campy, but also the first year of increased product differentiation. These shifters were not like previous 8 speed shifters, but a new cheaper and less functional design. 10 speed trickled down to 105 in 2007, and 105 shared the same level of technology as Dura Ace for just one year. Shimano made it clear that 10 speed was not going to trickle down to Tiagra for some time and released 4600 with visual indicators. This was to separate Tiagra from the "real" groups with the tacky and heavy indicators, and in order to keep Tiagra a generation behind. Now there is no overlap. Tiagra is a complete generation behind, and for a year will be two complete generations behind. Sora is yet another complete generation behind and a year where it will be more than a generation behind Tiagra. So is 105 next and never going to share technology with DA again, or will Shimano keep their product cycle so you can buy top level technology at different prices through the generation? Shimano certainly worked hard to make sure there were full generational gaps at the Tiagra level.

Hello /n/ I have some minor knee pain so I plan to get a professional bike fitting. I'm looking at two: http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/sportsmedicine/programs/biomechanical_tests.html http://www.rexcycles.com/service-fittings/ UCD is a school and their fitting is $200. Rex is a local frame builder in Sacramento and their fitting is $95. Is the extra $100 worth it for UCD?

I really think about this every day. Every time I see a large male, every time I think about a plane, every time somebody mentions the CIA, every time somebody asks about a mask, every time I weigh on the scale, every time somebody mentions the want to be a Dr. , every time somebody says they're not their friends, every time somebody mentions loyalty, every time somebody mentions Batman. Holy shit. It's a part of me now. This scene is a big guy for me, and taking over my brain must have been a part of it's plan. Of course, Bravo Nolan you're a real human being and a true detective. I don't know what to do anymore. I wake up in the middle of the night and immediately yell FOR YOU! I just can't help it. Every dream I can remember for the past 6 months has had to do with this fucking scene. Even if it's just the faintest sound of the plane. Oh my God. Please save me. Somebody. I can't take it. My life is crashing with no survivors. ________ NOTE: For maximum effect, post with "please help.png"

Japan Rabbit Island. It is the information that you are wrong. Rabbit Currently, the breed is one that ran away from the elementary school. Past was a poison gas island, is intended or should be inferred from the guinea pig at the time. Plus with the castration, islanders have also clean up the manure. There is also a campsite (although is Cheap Tent). It was more than that, I want to tell from the islanders. I'm sorry in poor English.

How can you tell if a road bike/frame has toe overlap? I'm interested in a steel bike for touring, but I don't want to worry about my toe hitting the front wheel. I currently use a race bike for my mini tours and I feel like I might get myself killed when I forget about the overlap while making wide turns.

Looks like rail fatalities are up, so I guess /n/ should be reminded that if you see track; think trains! Remember, you stand no chance against a train, not even on your imagination will protect you and your bicycle from 13,000 tons of steel. http://www.seetracksthinktrain.org/

How useful are these trailers for hauling groceries/random shit? I've been thinking that although motorists hate cyclists and secretly wish we all died a violent, horrific death, they may be more vigilant if they think that a cyclist is towing a child. When in reality it's stashed full of milk and potatoes. Sound brilliant innit?

Schwinn World 12 Speed

Newcomer here, I'm an average bike enthusiast. Looking to replace my old, hand-me-down Schwinn Varsity. Thing is, it's given me a taste for vintage Schwinns, so now I'm looking at this Schwinn 12 speed nearby. Looks great, but the frame is 27 inches. Most bike frame charts I've found don't even go up that high. I'm about 6' 2", my current Varsity is a 22 inch frame and is way too short. Anyone else out there with a similar height care to weigh in? is 27" usable, or am I better off hunting for another bike? It's close enough that I'll probably at least go check it out...

Why do some trains have wheels in the cab?
