Decided to give this simulator a try, since I used to dream about flying planes. To my surprise, I have managed to start the plane, even without autopilot. Then again, I didn't do dickload of important things, such as informing control tower I'm starting the plane. Because of that, I'm currious if there are any manuals arround. I am playing trial, so I also want to ask if manual from original game explains the basics.

I want a cheap scooter, reliable, and easy to maintain I need it to travel around the city and on occasion, on Canadian back roads during the summer (the roads aren't paved, they only have gravel) Would a Honda C70 be a wise choice? they seem cheap, reliable and easy to maintain I am 6'3 and 200lbs if that makes a difference... thanks

Can some /n/ bros help me out here? I'm moving to Portland over the summer and I'm close to the downtown (by the uni). I wanted to know if anyone has any great routes to ride so I'm not just aimlessly wondering around the city without direction

Does this look alright for a starter bike /n/? It'll be my first one since I was a kid, and I didn't want to get some walmart bike that'll fall apart in a few months. Is there anything I should be weary of if I go to check it out? (Rusted chain, etc.) http://nashville.craigslist.org/bik/4433454494.html

How can car free downtown areas be made? Are there cities where cars are not permitted in the populated areas? How would disabled people get around?

Hay /n/ I got this guy here for $20 today. >Globus GTX // 26" - 1.75" >3-Speed Sachs Torpedo Internal Hub If anyone could provide some information about this bike it would be well appreciated. I'm just looking for a breakdown of various part sizes and general information. I have the tools to make my own measurements, but a breakdown would still be enjoyedl. Various stickers don't include any other information as to the model. Some stickers say in fine print "KD.nr.128" and others "125" or "124". The front handle bars look like they're from a kids bike and the generator doesn't work, but I think it's a pretty nice find for $20. The bike is ride~able with two new tubes and with some adjustments the 3 speed seems to be working, but still needs TLC. I'm trying to make this my project bike, so I would like to get as much info as possible. I've Googled a few things, but can't find a clearly identical/similar bike for me to get a year/model from. Any help would be well appreciated. Feel free too add any Craigslist storys/finds.

Evening /n/ new poster here. Few questions i thought i should ask so here i go. Firstly what rules apply here, just global i'm guessing? (no sticky, plan to be here lots) Second, what kind of guides are available for people with a keep interest in cycling but have never actually owned a bike or rode one? Like i'm looking in to buying a bike and have no idea where to start. Checked a few things on the web about how bikes are assembled and different types of bikes but its not all that clear... Lastly, would you say riding a bike is more efficient than driving in small towns? (Been driving for years and i'm sick of it) Any and all help is appreciated. Cheers in advance.

TL;DR Those "other" cyclists.... The bad ones. Welcome to Tokyo's roads where there is only one law: "Do what thou wilt, and if the other guys is bigger than thou, 'tis his fault". This means that cyclists occupy pavements with the pedestrians. Cars drive like mad and salarymen ride their bikes in any direction in any lane. Repeat: ANY DIRECTION IN ANY LANE. All traffic passes as the UK, drive on the left. Except old women on bikes who will try and pass on your right. This causes additional confusion.

How to buy a car with no plates

Does anyone know how to buy a car with no plates properly? I am getting a vehicle from a relative, but it has no plates on it. I have only ever purchased a vehicle through a dealership before so they handled it for me. How can I get it to the DMV without plates on it or how do I go about getting it done legally? I live in ontario, if that makes a difference. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Pic somewhat related

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a2f_1399418508 What's your opinion? Is the biker pedaling too fast, because law says the car is guilty.

With the large influx of new commercial aircraft approaching (CSeries, Irkut MC, MRJ, etc), you can see a certain trend in the cockpit. There are no yokes. All have a sidestick; similar to that of Airbus. Now, I've been wondering: are sidesticks the future of aviation? What is the exact reason aircraft manufacturers are choosing this method of control? Also, which new regional jet will win in the oncoming brawl?

Sometimes I just don't feel like turning right on red, so I don't. Occasionally there's someone who gets mad and starts honking at me, but fuck 'em, there's nothing in the law that says I have to turn on red.
