Decided to give this simulator a try, since I used to dream about flying planes. To my surprise, I have managed to start the plane, even without autopilot. Then again, I didn't do dickload of important things, such as informing control tower I'm starting the plane. Because of that, I'm currious if there are any manuals arround. I am playing trial, so I also want to ask if manual from original game explains the basics.

Once a cyclist always a cyclist, and the base is rapidly expanding. How long till politicians start seriously catering to cyclists? Promising to improve infra and regulating deathcagers for votes?

I want a cheap scooter, reliable, and easy to maintain I need it to travel around the city and on occasion, on Canadian back roads during the summer (the roads aren't paved, they only have gravel) Would a Honda C70 be a wise choice? they seem cheap, reliable and easy to maintain I am 6'3 and 200lbs if that makes a difference... thanks

Be gentle, I'm a bike noob and I have a child's level of knowledge when it comes to cycling jargon and stuff. I haven't ridden since middle school (about 20 years ago) and I just got a vintage bike at a yard sale. This is my first bike to feature multiple speeds and brake levers on the handle bars instead of pedaling backwards, weeee! Anyway, I'm trying to date the bike. Its a 10 speed Chicago made Schwinn but thats all I know. Its a reddish brown color and has no branding other then the Schwinn logo above the forks and a sticker for the (original?) seller: Paul's Schwinn Cyclery of San Clemente, California. It seems they changed names to "Cyclewerks" when a new owner came along around 1978, which stumps me because I figured this bike was from the 1980s. I've looked online in a bunch of places for identifying the year but they either say its from 1959 (which it clearly isn't) or that it doesn't exist based on the serial number. From what I can tell from their catalogs Schwinn didn't make a 10 speed in '59. Apparently they stopped using the XX###### serial number system in 1982 or so and that means the GU month/year date was never reached... BUT its on the headtube (a new term for me) of the bike! In '59 they would have been stamped on the left rear dropout (another new term). Outside of a sticker warning about the breaks being less effective when wet theres no other verbiage on the bike at all. This list says my bike doesn't exist. http://www.angelfire.com/rant/allday101/SchwinnCodes1.html/ This one says it was made in 1959. http://schwinncruisers.com/schwinn.php?serial=GU504781

Can some /n/ bros help me out here? I'm moving to Portland over the summer and I'm close to the downtown (by the uni). I wanted to know if anyone has any great routes to ride so I'm not just aimlessly wondering around the city without direction

Hay /n/ I got this guy here for $20 today. >Globus GTX // 26" - 1.75" >3-Speed Sachs Torpedo Internal Hub If anyone could provide some information about this bike it would be well appreciated. I'm just looking for a breakdown of various part sizes and general information. I have the tools to make my own measurements, but a breakdown would still be enjoyedl. Various stickers don't include any other information as to the model. Some stickers say in fine print "KD.nr.128" and others "125" or "124". The front handle bars look like they're from a kids bike and the generator doesn't work, but I think it's a pretty nice find for $20. The bike is ride~able with two new tubes and with some adjustments the 3 speed seems to be working, but still needs TLC. I'm trying to make this my project bike, so I would like to get as much info as possible. I've Googled a few things, but can't find a clearly identical/similar bike for me to get a year/model from. Any help would be well appreciated. Feel free too add any Craigslist storys/finds.

So I'm thinking of trying a time trial again this year. Can't afford a TT bike, so I'm thinking of getting one of those seatposts with an offset and a TT saddle, then getting a different stem for the handlebars, which I'll mount clip-on aero-extensions onto (which I've used before) and getting the whole setup fitted professionally. Crazy idea or not? I know there are one or two people on /n/ who might have a real opinion on this. >Bracing for incoming trolling and other harassment

>Pic Related: >My bike but not quite as pristine as this one. I know my bike is old but I cycle on it like it is a new one. I'm looking for a new saddle to replace the original because it's uncomfortable and heavy. Thoughts on this saddle? It weighs about 315g. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-VADER-VD-107-Bicycle-Saddle-Seat-Road-Bike-or-Mountain-Cycling-White-/390836768365?pt=US_Saddles_Seats&hash=item5affafce6d also, general cycling thread
