Hey guys. I've posted a bunch of threads over the last six months probing for info on E90 BMW's. I really like the 335i after driving a few. However I really like being able to sleep well at night. I'm a blue collar fag, and I've decided to not pretend to be a dentist/accountant who can swallow constant $2k repair bills on a boosted German car. I drove a 2014 Mustang GT. Loved the 5.0, comfy ride, the interior is fine IMO. The suspension is fucking terrible and soft, but KW has a coilover/swaybar kit for ~$2k that should tighten it up. I have KW V1's on my current car ('06 MINI) that I like a lot. Research on common issues doesn't come up with much, other than the first year tranny being a little under-engineered for the torque, and a handful of people with tunes blowing out Cylinder 8. I'd be looking for probably an 11-12 with Brembos/Track Pack. >inb5 wait for the '15 I'm looking at spending no more than $30k, and pricing in Canada is pretty brutal, with '14 GT models hovering around the $50k mark on the sticker. I also don't want a first year car.

Hey guys. I've got a 92 Cadillac Brougham 5.7 that I got several years back from my grandfather. Some faglord rear ended me today in a parking lot and drove off. My car near instantly shut off. It sounds like it's trying to crank but it just won't start. I've checked my fuses and fuel. A passerby mentioned that there may be some sort of safety switch to shut off my gas flow to prevent fuel spills. I looked for this behind my kick panels and in my trunk. The only thing I found that it could be is a toggle switch in my glove compartment. This didn't do anything and after checking the connections, I found out that the cables to it were cut. Found no trace of the cut cables though. Sorry for the wall of text, but you guys are the only people I could think of to ask and I've gotta get it fixed within 2 days due to work. Any help would be vastly appreciated. Pic related, same car.

I rarely see threads discussing >weight balance >spring rates >shock adjustments >camber/toe >chassis stiffening >tire width/compound/tread >wheel weight, durability, and diameter >differentials >transmission gearing >AFR tuning >brake pad compounds/brake fluids >engine monitoring (gauges, etc.) What gives?
