How much would it cost to lift a Frontier 3 inches? Could I do it myself? and would this kit be decent enough? https://www.google.com/shopping/product/8693497859412353680?q=nissan+frontier+3+inch+lift+kit&espv=2&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.68693194,d.aWw,pv.xjs.s.en_US.-Ep_RCG9YGU.O&ion=1&biw=1366&bih=643&tch=1&ech=1&psi=UrGYU9f8AsOMyASp8ICgCA.1402515796571.5&sa=X&ei=XbGYU6ytMMqOyASwkoCgAg&ved=0CNQCEPMCMBI I want to add 32 inch tires once its all said and done.

Wahoo, I got my WRX today! 2002 with 109k from its second owner, Bone stock except for a Prodrive axle back and a sweet set of WedSport SA-90's Hopefully I am going to pick up a set of Tomei headers that come with an up-pipe. Faster spool, no tune necessary, plus its awesome supporting mod for a larger turbo. Are there any other mods I should do straight out of the gate? What yields better overall driving without breaking the bank and keeping it safe power wise?

First time I start my car every morning, it starts like >CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI... >CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-CHI-VR-VR-VRROOOOOM But then every time I start it throughout the rest of the day, it's just like >CHI-VRROOOOOM Is the battery just having trouble holding a charge overnight, or am I looking at something else? The battery is several years old, and the starter was replaced last year.

Alrighty /k/, here's the deal: I want a diesel square body, with an overdrive trans, lifted on 1 ton axles. That's a needle in a haystack right there. What would be the cheapest/easiest way of reaching my end goal? Right now I'm considering buying a CUCV truck and just swapping the trans. It's already got the diesel motor, it's already got the 1 ton axles with 4.56 gears and locker(s). You can also find them already lifted fairly easily. I could also buy a commercial K20 or K30 but it wouldn't have the gears, and most of the lifted and geared ones are gas. Engine swaps are pretty much out of the question since I don't even [have a] lift and I live in CA where smog-gas to non-smog-diesel swaps are... not something I want to mess with. So, should I buy a CUCV and swap the trans or buy a stock diesel K20/30 w/ an OD trans and swap the axles for CUCV axles? The CUCV will be easier to find and likely lower miles, but a trans swap (especially auto to manual) is more difficult than swapping axles.

Audi building new car after crash

Audi has a spare tub with them and it seems that they are going to build a new car for Kristensen, Di Grassi, and Duval. However, Duval's current physical state is still in question. As most have heard by now by now, the original No. 1 car was obliterated in a practice crash earlier today. Part of the front end seems to be the only salvageable part from the machine, if even that. http://www.motorsport.com/lemans/news/audi-building-new-car-after-crash/

For the last 2 years I haven't had a car a car go 3 months without a serious enough problem that I had to stop driving it. I'm in a constant state of brokeness so usually these things keep me from driving for months at a time. Am I cursed? How often do you experience major failures of your car?

Here's the situation > blown turbo > replacing it > down to the last 2 bolts, hard as fuck to reach > only about a 1 inch gap between the engine block and the nut where it's attached to the manifold and its at a difficult angle > manifold will be equally as difficult to replace plus I dont want to order a manifold gasket > 11mm is theeee size So what the fureakin fuck dew I do. I read on a forum some dude had the same exact problem but idk if a 1/4 inch drive socket will fit like he said but here it is. I have THE EXACT problem. http://m.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258487&styleid=9 > help pls u can see it in pic related

Hey /o/, In short, I want to buy a car in San Diego for $1200 that can cart 4 Australians around for a two months. Impossible? Almost definitely, but whatever. What sort of cars should we be looking at? Honestly, we'll forgoe basic luxuries like working AC and radio if the car isn't going to need engine repairs halfway to yellowstone. Thoughts?

I've been slowly putting together a turbo upgrade for my sr20det over the last couple months. Now all I need are gaskets, and it feels good.

SQUID: A young motorcyclist who overestimates his abilities, boasts of his riding skills when in reality he has none. Squid bikes are usually decorated with chrome and various anodized bits. Rear tyres are too wide for their own good, swingarm extended. Really slow in the corners, and sudden bursts of acceleration when a straight appears. Squids wear no protection, deeming themselves invincible. This fact compounds intself with the fact that they engage in 'extreem riding'--performing wheelies and stoppies in public areas. Squids wreck alot. Derived from 'squirly kid'
what are /o/'s thoughts... 21 posts and 0 image replies omitted. Click to view.
what are /o/'s thoughts on the lexus gx? just bought this 07 cypress green. $25k, 61k, navi, dvd, no sport option or kdss. never owned a japanese car before, or a suv. honestly feels kinda cheap compared to my old vw, but supposedly these are less of a headache to deal with... oh and before u guys complain, since i know you will, it was all cash with a $5000 trade in.

So if im rebuilding a fucked motor just to make it go to sell the car. Could i get away with using that liquid instant gasket stuff on the old rear, front and sump gaskets? Ofcourse ill be listing it as a "selling on behalf of my mum it was her weekend car always serviced etc etc" I only need it to be good until cars sold so maybe 500km give or take? Would it hold?

We live in the 21st century. Why isn't this a thing?
