Hey, /o/, I'm not too familiar with this board, so I hope I'm not breaking any "no 'what car is good'" rules. Anyway, I'm going to be in Northern Virginia this year and need a car to get around and that I can also give to my younger brother to learn on/drive once I move away. I'll be moving to NYC, so I won't need a car there, so I'd rather avoid spending a lot of money, but I still want something that will be relatively "nice" and not a complete piece of shit. I have around $2500 to spend and was thinking about an older (2000-ish) Volvo S80 or an Infinity G20, but I really don't know whether they're what I want/need from a car.

Are aftermarket body parts acceptable? I need an OEM-style bumper but Lexus wants $500 for a front bumper cover. No junkyards have my car within 400 miles....

What should I do with this? Oil pressure gauge was broken, and the rear main seal went out. Drove it to the store and back, then noticed a huge puddle of oil in my parking place. KA is no more.

Need help on making an "abandoned" car mine

I found a car that's been in a parking lot for a year and half, WRX, beautiful. A friend has spoken to the owner in the past, he moved away, wanted a stupid amount of money for the car.. and it doesn't seem he has any interest in picking it up. Any legal actions I can take, like applying for an abandoned title? I'm in NC.

I have a bizarre issue going on with my car, a 2001 audi A4 1 out of every 5 or 6 attempts to get gas, the pump only squirts in a few cents to almost a dollar, then stops. if i unlock the nozzle and try again, it just does the same thing. Once this happens it never just pumps gas regularly after the first issue Any idea whats going on?

Here's the deal /o/- I drive a 5 speed 1997 Mazda b2300 (Ford Ranger with minor differences), and recently I've been having a problem with the clutch (I think). Every time I'm getting ready to stop, I'll shift into neutral (I usually idle ~1200 rpm) but my rpm will stay where they are, sometimes they'll even increase. for example: >shift to neutral at 2800 rpm >will be completely stopped >tach will read ~3000 rpm for several seconds, eventually decreases and drops When I'm stopped, I can still feel the engine working as if I'm still in gear. I'm just assuming this would be a problem with the clutch, maybe the cable? pic related, the car I wish I had

To counter the fag with the "nicest" car on /o/ thread lets get a middle-class person car thread going. Fuck them and their bullshit elitism.
