Corsa diagnosis?

Corsa diagnosis? 0 posts and 0 image replies omitted. Click to view.
Hey, I don't know much (anything) about cars. I have been googling my evening away tonight to solve the symptoms of my car. Today I was driving my usual journey to work, when about 6 miles in my engine light came on and the engine began to judder/shake. The gas pedal felt smoother for some reason also. I parked it at work and left it. I drove home with the engine light on with what seemed like little/no engine judder. I got home and re started the car and the engine light has gone off.. Could this be lambda Sensor? Fuel Injector? Spark Plugs? Any advice would be helpful. I drive a corse life 16V, so that's a corsa C. I recently had a mechanic repair the engine coil and water pump on the car.

> 89 Plymouth reliant runs and drives great body is in good condition great little work car. Just put new plug wires on it and changed oil in it. How does /o/ feel about this? I just got rid of an '88 Dodge Omni, and it was a reliable, reliable car, even when treated like shit. What do you guys think? He's only asking $900.

Aftermarket Wheels

So I'm most likely going to upgrade from 17" stock wheels on my Mustang to 18" wheels for weight savings and appearance. I found some new 18x8 Enkei Raijins locally for $700 and if he still has them I'm going to buy them. My favorite wheels I've found are the Forgestar F14, TSW Nurburgring and Interlagos, and the Enkei Raijins. My stock 17x7 wheels weigh 26lb and factory tires are 28 for a total of 54lb per corner. The 18x8 Raijins are 20lb each and with tires I'll be shaving 8-10lb per corner for a total unsprung mass savings of 32-40lb. Anyways, there are also cheaper wheels I like for only $600 total in 18x8 but they are 23.8lb vs the Enkei's 20lb. Link related are the cheaper and slightly heavier wheels. Is 20lb vs 24lb going to be a noticable difference? http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-amr-18x8-0513.html
Hey /o/ need some advice... 8 posts and 0 image replies omitted. Click to view.
Hey /o/ need some advice regarding my 2001 VW Passat V6. I just changed the timing belt on it in pic related and am turning it clockwise by hand. It spins freely and everything seems ok. But when I turn it counter clockwise it won't turn all the way. Almost feels like it's hitting a piston or something. Is this normal, that I won't be able to turn the engine counter clockwise? Or is it also supposed to turn counter clockwise freely and my timing is off?

hey /o/ help me out... 30 posts and 0 image replies omitted. Click to view.
hey /o/ help me out please I'm going to be buying a new F-150 by the end of this month. but I'm torn. I know it's going to be a fully loaded truck with heated/cooled front seats, navigation, HIDs, 20's, etc. and a 6.5' box, max tow package and Ecoboost engine with 4wd and most likely will be going with "Sunset Metallic" for the color. I had a 2010 King Ranch and was pretty set on getting another King Ranch, but for some reason I've got it in my head that I may want an FX4 instead. so I'm trying to work out the pros/cons of each.. FX4 pros cheaper "sportier" blacked out lights look good looks better modified no chrome interior is easy to care for FX4 cons interior feels cheaper seats are known to be stiff and uncomfortable I see 40 of them every day King Ranch pros I LOVE the interior real leather seats instead of synthetic material not nearly as common feel fancy as fuck driving one for some reason, I like two-tone King Ranch cons seats look like shit quickly if you don't clean and condition them regularly feel like an old man driving one (I'm 22) significantly more money not a single aftermarket wheel in the world looks good on them chrome tail lights = super ugly that's what I've got so far... I still have the budget boost off of my old truck which is a 2.5" front level and 3" rear blocks which raise the rear about 1 5/8" so it will still have some rake. and then I have LT285/65R20 BFGoodrich All Terrains that will be going on which ever truck I buy. I like to keep things clean but I also like to tinker with shit which is why I'm having such a hard time making this call. what are your thoughts?

Any Z people on? I'm wondering if there is a performance difference on an L28 with EFI setup VS L28 with round top SUs from a 240z.

Sup /o/, /g/ here. Read the sticky, but i guess you guys don't have an advice thread? Anyways, looking at buying a car, currently tooling around in my dad's old 99 Chevy Silverado 1500, but i need something for myself. My area tends to just have utter shit in the way of cars, or beaners fucking them up completely. so, would this be alright? 1972 Toyota corona mkii. its only 1800 and im sure I could talk him down. So what's the /o/ consensus?

http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/4588468469.html Thoughts /o/? Need a daily to last me at least 10 months while I save money for a down payment on a new car. Seems very clean for the year. Are these fun at all? Are they reliable? The fact that it's the FWD version is the only thing stopping me from immediately buying it.
