Hello, everyone. I am looking for a decent sized tent to fit a modest amount of gear and a few buddies. Price range isn't much of an issue, I just need a spacious, sturdy tent. Also; General tent thread :)

Hey /out/. I have a BA in Criminal Justice from Texas State University (I planned on being a police officer) but I have recently found that I could be a Game Warden in Washington. Before some guy tries to punk me and make me to be a fool, I don't know a lot about the outdoors or even Washington's outdoors, other than when I was a young boy and went camping with my family in the Smoky Mountains. Help me face reality, please. Am I romantacizing the outdoors or is it okay to be a noob and pick up? Any wardens have advice. Thanks in advance. Pic is a generally over-used pic of woods

I'm a new explorer and our group just made our first video. Thoughts? Critique is appreciated since we're all inexperienced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZI3W-1VEvk

My bike is a fixed gear. Do you think it could handle off-road adventures if I put the biggest tires that clear on it?

Mini Kit - What do you think?

Mini Kit - What do you think? 4 posts and 0 image replies omitted. Click to view.
Today I made this mini survival kit, keep in mind I live on a forested coast area It's simply an old axe sheathe thing >pic related in the little pocket I put: A flint, sinker, cable tie, wax, the 'head' of a razor, small and larger fishing hook (barb covered in wax) The big pocket has: A flint striker, mosquito coil, sterilized bandage and a tiny improvised fishing reel The reel is just a thumb length cardboard tube with fishing line tied to it long ways in a knot and the rest of it (4.5 meters) wrapped around.

When the survival shows first came out I was like how awesome, but now? I'd rank them as follows 1. Matt Graham - seems pretty mellow and badass (atlatl) 2. Les Straud - would have tied for first but Bigfoot plus he's always starving 3. Cody Lundin - awesome but can't get over the steroids and crying over water 4. Dave Canterbury - I always liked this dude but he lied about his service, Codi and him need to re-unite for a show 5. Mykel Hawke - don't know much about him but liked his shows without annoying wife 6. Joe Teti - I don't think I've learned anything from him except how not to act like a douche 7. Bear Grylls - where do I start Now these are American shows.

Do we have any axemen on the board? Besides Marble, what else is high tier. What has good weight distribution, very little give between the head and the handle, and a good quality axe head? We have any loggers around?
