Anyone up for a little photoshop practice? •Take a photo that you took or someone on /p/ took and turn it into fake album art. •Bonus points for using this as an excuse to learn a new tool (puppet warp and channel mixer are pretty cool) Here's one I made from a photo in the march photo thread. What genera do you reckon it is?

Laughter And Smiles

About to do a girl's senior portraits at a park. I have some ideal poses, but I'd like to get some natural smiles as well. This is my first time doing someone's senior portraits and I'd like to get some tips on capturing that true look of happiness on someone's face. The space left in the collage I've just thrown together is to be saved for jokes and things to make her smile. Any ideas as to what I should put there?

I took this photo in Paris. I don't know why I like it. I haven't touch anything but still it looks even artificial. Maybe some adjusting on green and red lights at both sides of the picture would boost it. Just came to share it. [EXIF data available. >500px >Flickr >tumblr >Behance >Facebook >Twitter >etc. So, what do y'all use, what do you refuse to use, what do you see the most success with, and just generally a discussion of sites that provide ways of sharing work, becoming better known/making sales/networking?

So, I've been working on this gif for hours now in photoshop. For some reason it's leaving behind trails. For some information on how it was made I have a background layer for each frame so there is a layer under each frame so the swimsuit has something to fill it in(an image of space). I just used eraser to erase the outer parts of the image to get it transparent outside the body but its leaving these ugly trails behind. Can someone guide me on what to do to fix this in photoshop? Thanks a lot. Ill buy you a game on STEAM sometime if you can fix my issue.

Gear thread: help a bro out

So, my current gear is a Canon EOS 1100D with a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 and the classic 18-55. Though I'd like a pro-level compact or a mirrorless for all the times I don't want to take the whole reflex bunch with me. As now people keep telling me "Canon Powershot g15/16" (I'd go with the 15 as I can't care any less of wifi on my camera) but have you any other ideas? Budget is 400 to 700 dollarz, optical viewfinder is a bonus point. Pic related

Hey guys, have any of you all tried this site? GreenToe.com I've googled it quite a bit, and found quite a few endorsements, but a complete lack of real world reviews. Any thoughts by any of you guys?

I'm an amazon click away from either getting the Canon or Sigma 50mm 1.4 lenses, and I'm leaning 51% more toward the Sigma. All I'm concerned about is IQ, and my budget is under $500. Shooting purely portraits on a crop. I know this is technically a gear thread but I want to know what you guys think. Thanks.
