The more experience you have with a certain photography technique, the better you can spot photos simply emulating that technique. Let's play a game /p/. Provide a natural looking photo with inexplicit manipulation or spot evidences, in provided photos, of these manipulations. This photo wasn't shot in one piece. There's one definite evidence without a doubt to prove it. Can you find it?

Need some constructive criticism

Hey /p/ I would appreciate some constructive criticism on this shot. I took it March last year and it's from the first "real" photo shoot I did for a band. I know it's not that interesting, but I kinda dig it and I would really like to hear some pointers for what you guys think i can do better.

I was out on a short trip in the yesterdays fog. I've been feeling less of a photographer lately, as if I've lost my eye for it. It's just a few photos, but I'd like you guys to critique them as I can't tell whether they are good or not. [EXIF data available. What do /p/ think about using Kickstarter to fund a project? I'm finishing up one project now which will be displayed at the college I attended as well as a local art center. I'd like my next project to be shot on film and be vandyke brown printed, which can be expensive and time consuming. I don't plan to use Kickstarter as a handout, but I don't want to turn this next project in to a long, drawn-out thing that takes 3 years to do because I have to save up enough money for enough large format film and silver nitrate whenever I run low on materials. Wat think? Pic unrelated. Have no pictures on this phone, so it's my sun chips in eating at subway [EXIF data available. portrait thread

I really like the stories behind portraits. Can we get a portrait thread with stories behind them? I met this guy in Slab City, near the Salton Sea. He lives in his trailer, plays in the weekly music roundups, and owns a really nice Kawasaki Ninja, I would've guessed a solid $10,000 bike. He was really nice. I wish I could remember his name. The last time I was in Slab City, he was gone, his bike was gone, and the motorhome had new residents. [EXIF data available. If I see banding (of the grey sky) on my screen will it show in print? JPG to print is okay in case resolution is not a problem, yes or no? I mean in sizes around 10x15cm, sometimes slightly bigger, sometimes smaller. It's a high-quality pamphlet. I'm a bit confus about the relation between what I see on my screen and what will come out as a print. Adams' "Print" isn't helping too much as the problem is mainly digital I believe. Any reads of the basics, people? Image included for provocative reasons.
