I'd like to get a camera specifically for UV / IR use (which means pulling out the internal filter, of course). Nikon, preferably, because that's what I'm using already. Anyone have recommendations on what the best camera to use/convert would be? The info I've read is a bit conflicted. Some reports that the D200 (w/ its CCD) is the last best model for IR and UV sensitivity, and later models are substantially less sensitive (this is after block filter removal). Others report that the D300 on are fine. A D300 or newer would be more convenient due to the addition of live view. Post any of your experiences producing good UV or IR photos, too. Digital, film, whatever. I've been using film up to now and I'm getting tired of the unpredictable results.

I've had a Kodak M1033 HD digital camera for the last few years, but I've noticed something horribly wrong with the camera and I can't find a fix online anywhere >The problem After taking pictures and opening the files on my computer, I get the following errors on some of the pictures (Pic related) Has anyone ever experienced this before? It use to only come up if I took pictures with lots of white (like paper) but now it seems to be a random occurrence. Perhaps the SD card is corrupted?

Brown Dots???

Hey /p/, I will star this thread by saying sorry in advance. I am terrible at photography and am desperately trying to get better. Now that that's out of the way, I want to ask something. >why are there brown dots on all of my photos in the same place? I'm not sure if the photos are on my sensor or not, but I know that my lens is clean. Anyways, pic related. Any help would be awesome, thank you! [EXIF data available. Photography?

Hey /p/. I'm starting out a degree in photography. This is my freshman year, but I've been fiddling with photography outside of school for a year or two now. If I could get some general criticism that'd be dandy. I'll post a few more images in the thread. [EXIF data available. >There is no such thing as good photography, it depends entirely on the content of the photo, such as the surroundings or object in focus. Photo of a brick wall: "hur hur, sell your camera you pleb" Photo of a lush naturalistic landscape: "woah sik pix m8" The only thing that really defines a good photo is the angle of which it is taken, a photo taken parallel with the horizon is supposedly a good photo. You cannot prove me wrong.
