If you were able to curve spacetime in the shape of a mobius strip and then drop a marble in, would the marble keep falling forever?

I've just finished my first year of my Maths degree and did quite well overall but didn't get anything out of the basic probability modules which are prerequisites for any statistics modules I could take next year. So I have two options: Drop statistics as a choice in the future or teach myself over the summer. What are your thoughts on this? I've been told that statistician will be one of the best professions in the near future which makes sense because of the increasing importance of data in the modern world but man, I find statistics so boring.

hey /sci/, i really enjoy studying physics and math in my spare time. i've been having a lot of issues understanding the higgs, so i've got a couple questions for y'all. 1. how accurate is this picture of particles and interactions if the higgs field had a 0 vev? 2. what exactly does "mass is generated by a coupling between left handed and right handed fermions" mean? does that just mean that mass comes from an interaction (mediated by the higgs field) between the two, or something else? 2a. why isn't there "charge" for the higgs field, like for the electromagnetic field, for example? is the "charge" the handedness of a fermion? more general, math related questions- 1. what is a spinor? how can i understand it intuitively? (i understand it in the context of physics, but i'd like to explore spinors more in a mathematical context.) answer whatever you want. thanks in advance!
