Did anyone else see this 1/18 posable skeleton on amiami? With skeleton warriors and boss fight kickstarter I've been seeing a lot of talk about people wanting something like this. Very cheap and it seems like they make tons of accessory sets for him too. http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-006388&page=top

Finally picked up my favorite DBZ character's figuarts after what feels like years of waiting for a reasonably priced re-issue and I gotta say its pretty much perfect. Are all the DBZ figuarts this based? What about the new Goku?

Hey /toy/ So next week I am traveling around Asia, Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong Any places you recommend for buying toys and seeing toy related fun stuff? I know Akihabara is the number one option, but maybe someone here knows of other not so mainstream places which might have something special to them

Reissue Piccolo

Just got my first figuarts DBZ fig, he's very cool, and I'm impressed...buuut, (his) right arm is very easy to pop off at the bicep swivel point. It's quite bummer as his left arm is nice and tight...kinda ruins the fun of posing him. His shoulder purple pieces come off, but they're not TOO bad. One other little QC issue is a dark chunk of something inside the plastic at the top of his default headsculpt. It's not something I can scratch off, it's like, IN the plastic, unfortunately. Anyone else have any issues with theirs, or did I just get kind of a dud?

Final Fantasy VII: Mechanical Arts -Kadaj's Motorcycle-

I've been looking for a Kadaj figurine that can "ride" this motorcycle for a while, and I know, it's pretty late since most associated merchandise came out in 2007. There seems to be one that works for the Cloud figurine from the same series, but the Kadaj figurine is waaaay too tall to ride this motorcycle; is there some release somewhere that -does- fit atop it? How the fuck would I find it, also? Thanks in advance.

Online Ordering Q&A General

If you have any questions about online ordering and toy websites direct them here because I don't want this thread to be just about me and my questions. So I dun goofed /toy/. I put in an order for some anime guide books on Mandarake and made the gross miscalculation that my shipping fees would be reasonable. One book weighs some 1.4 pounds and my whole order probably weighs around 9 pounds. They're charging me $65 for shipping, SAL. Is there any way around this? I thought that because the size of my order was small it'd be a hell of a lot cheaper but I neglected to think of the weight. Are there any other shipping options which could be cheaper? And how understanding are they if I say I want to remove some items from my order to cut down on shipping costs? Are they sticklers like AmiAmi? I don't want to get blacklisted. And if guys have ordered anime guide books in the past where do you order them from? Any help and advice would be appreciated thanks.

Two of my friends found this while digging through their old stuff. They had no idea where it came from, but they posted it up to Facebook as they knew how creepy it was. They put a clue knife in it's hand to further emphasize the creepiness. They've been missing for a week. Can anyone shed any light on what this fucking toy is?

Multimode toys general

talk about the toys only. Discuss any toys you like that have more than one mode! does not have to be robotic, but does need to effectively be a different toy in the other mode, not just a bent over figure with a gimmick. the point of this thread is to both find out honest opinions of transforming toys, with little to no bias regarding the fiction they may have connected to them. bakugan, transformers, turd pardys, tfs, toku, macross, machine robo, go bots, customs even (though you must actually possess it and not have made it your self.) (brick built things must do a perfect transformation, no disassembly and reassembly, especially not into a different shape, this includes construct bots alone, but does not include them as an upgrade kit for a standard figure.)
