This is a shot in the dark, but what is a good, exotic, beautiful and CHEAP place to travel to? Preferably in a warm climate I'm an ameriburger, if that matters.

Churning Credit Cards

Churning Credit Cards 4 posts and 0 image replies omitted. Click to view.
I want to travel...see the world or at least fly around the US. I've heard about churning credit cards for mileage points. How can I learn to do this? I wanna be able to work my ass off for a couple of months and then be able to fly somewhere for a couple of days.

So the opportunity to spend two semesters at The University Centre in Svalbard studying Arctic Physics has presented itself to me. The course looks amazing. Interesting modules including 20 credits from an intensive two week crash course in Arctic survival. I spoke to some people who've been before as a big group and they said it was sweet as. The only issue is that I'd almost certainly be going on my own. I've heard that 24hr night can be incredibly lonesome. But at the same time I'd quite like to go off and do something like this on my own, meet new people and just have fun. Anyone here ever done this or something similar? I'd like some advice on wether it would be worthwhile or just crushingly lonely. Will my only companionship come from hungry polar bears?

What's up /trv/ I was considering about planning a journey on foot from my hometown to Mumbai. I have never had this kind of experience before, and I have a long time to organize every detail about how to survive while I'm travelling. I've no problems with money and I don't need facilities at all. I wouldonly like to know if someone here had a similar experience and if he/she had some suggestions to give. thanks a lot

Hi, /trv/ I am in London now. What are some interesting places to see here? I mean, I already checked the obvious options like Big Ben, London Eye or Camden Town, but in such a huge city there must some less known places that I can visit. Any suggestions?

Hey, People. Sorry for the bad english, i don't speak or write it 100% I'm brasilian, my name is Eduardo. I have 19 years old, and I'm not black, or "HUE", and I don't like samba, carnaval, and soccer. I like to make new friends, and, of course, travel. But I never traveled for outside of Brasil, only inside, to the beachs, little turistic cities, and shit. I would like to say, if any of you are coming to the world cup and see the jogos in "Manaus" (my city), I will love to receive any of you in my home, to practice my english, learn new things, drink beer, and listen about your contry and your culture. No, I'm not gay, i'm just a curious guy. I'm waiting for your contact friends ! Good Bye.

Living in a crappy area of Australia, far north of Brisbane. I've figured I should move down to Melbourne since not only family is there, but also the weather would be nicer in comparison to what I have to deal with here. There's other reasons, too, though. I don't plan to live with family at all, so I was wondering if anyone in Australia who lives in Melbourne can share their advice if they're able to live decently/comfortably/adequately on Centrelink via NEET or Student/Studies. Looking for a job is pretty standard, I've been doing that for a bit but I'm not having much success here. Though I hear the job-game in Melbourne is pretty bad, which is why I specifically ask those on Centrelink. Since it's one of the major cities of Australia, I've wondered if it's something I can even move to, to live. I don't expect to live dead in the center of the city, but at the same time I want to be able to afford bills (including electricity + internet + water/gas). Is it possible? Or should I abandon hopes to moving to a more, civilized place? (Also some general Melbourne advice would be nice; Places to avoid, etc.)

Full Time Residency

Full Time Residency 5 posts and 0 image replies omitted. Click to view.
So here it goes... I live in N.Ireland (Irish) and this past few year's I've managed to save £5000, and I have considered moving to Australia. I don't have the slightest idea were I would start, as I have little knowledge on what need's to be done. All I know is you apply for a working visa which gives you 1 year to travel and work for an employer for 6 months max. I'm also aware you can apply for a second year, but my goal is to get full residency as were I live is a complete shit hole, it would kill me to come back here after a year or two. Any information will be great. Thanks
