Did this had any function other than saving games? I never owned a dreamcast but the memory card looks awesome. Did any game ever made use of the screen? Was there ever a game made specifically for it?

I've been searching for a turn-based game since forever and I couldn't find it. All I remember is it was turn-based game where you have members of an army stuck in a swap and they fight different creatures such as giant wasp/bee. And also there's an old broken house in swamp area. Help me /vr/

hello everyone. I'm from Argentina (believe me, I'm white) and I'm working on the remastering of this artwork cult making it more photorealistic (sprites, walls, sounds, weapons and monsters). The only drawback is make weapons, since I have no real reference photo for the game. If anyone wants to contribute a photo would help me a lot!

Brigandine, worth the price?

I've been playing more tactic games on the ps1. I recently just beat vanguard bandits and am looking for another game in the same play style as it or tactics ogre / final fantasy tactics. I saw that Brigandine is going for over 100 in most ebay sales lately and was wondering if the game is actually worth the cost or if it's just inflation.

Hi, I just wanted recommend to my fellow retro gaming fans a really great internet radio station called SLAY Radio, which plays Commodore 64 remixes 24/7, with weekly live shows as well. It's on http://www.slayradio.org What other retro gaming radio stations do you suggest?

Have any of you guys ever played Hourai High? It's an RPG for the SNES that was only released in Japan, but recently received an English translation. It's pretty fun. As the title suggests, it takes place in a Japanese high school. It has humorous dialogue reminiscent of Earthbound. Here's a link to download the translation patch: http://agtp.romhack.net /project.php?id=hourai I just started it. If anyone else has played it, I'd like to know what you think. How long is this game?

This is the bandwagon mentality that is assassinating FFVII's reputation and getting hipster kids to praise FFVI. I mean, I can understand if someone likes VI, but do people always have to inevitably compare the two? Do you think FFVI's popularity is warranted, or is it just a movement made as a backlash against FFVII's popularity?

Just finished this masterpiece for the first time after someone here recommended it. Are there any other games in this genre i've missed out on? Just plain open puzzle solving exploration adventure? No collectathons or sidescrollers. just good old fashioned adventure

So what do I do with all my old retro junk. Controllers, sports games, etc. I used to collect retro games but I had a big sell off at some point in time and now I'm just got ton's of stuff. What do you do with retro junk that isn't even likely to sell anymore? I've got all kinds of mishmashed crap that I don't want to keep yet I don't want to throw away. Some of it's unique and cool and valuable, some of it's just junk. I have good condition N64 controllers and the extension cords for the controllers. At least I have an N64. With it I have games like Rugrats, then I have Majora's Mask. I have 4 Genesis controllers and a copy of Sonic CD, yet I sold my Sega CD and Genesis. I have old games nobody would want. Sports games, some good ones mixed in, many games that I'll never play and nobody would ever care about. So what do you do with all this old stuff? What's been your solution to an accumulation of extra junk you acquire when getting the games you want? Do I trash it? Sell it as a bundle? Keep it forever?

What are the opinions on the Retro Duo Portable and Supaboy here? Is one markedly superior or are they both pleb tier? >get a jxd/tablet instead Already have one. This is about native hardware, not emulators. >emulators are better I know. But can emulators play repros and homebrew? Thought not.

Things that retro games did better than modern games? All I can honestly think of are difficulty and music. Better pacing between releases too for the most part. Tell me /vr/ what am I missing? I understand having a snes but that's all some people play.

Hi there /vr/, I'm looking so some recommendations for good gameboy/gameboy color games. I already consulted http://vsrecommendedgames.wikia.com/wiki/Game_Boy and http://vsrecommendedgames.wikia.com/wiki/Game_Boy_Color but their lists seem rather sparse for a system that was essentially around for a solid decade and a half
