Does any of you work as 3D-Artist? Degree or self-taught? Is it possible to get a job as self-taught 3D-Artist?

The jobs you get are mostly a matter of networking being in school opens all sorts of doors because most schools will have internship programs in your final year. You'll basically be an unpaid slave doing shit jobs but you'll make connections.

As well when you're in school you socialize and make friends with your fellow students. If your friends get jobs with studios that gives you an inside track into that company. You can find out about job openings before they're made known to the public. You also have someone inside the company that can recommend you.

That's the biggest advantage of school. The actual courses are all shit you can learn on your own.
