I'm using a surface shader with contour rendering enabled to render out my wireframe in Maya, is there a way to make glass transparent while doing this? I tried upping the out transparency of my shader but i guess that doesnt work with contour rendering.

pic related, I need the glass on the clock to be see through while still showing the wireframe

and here is the rest of the clock. worst case ill just delete the glass and render it that way but rendering it out would be even better

can't you simply hide the glass, if you don't need to render it?

Yes, I went ahead and did that for the sake of time even though it doesnt show the wireframe like I want. Would be nice to know how for future models though, i'm probably just overthinking it.
