So I'm halfway through modelling a face in Maya, and when I smooth it out I see this shit. It's all sharp, and I can't get it to change.
When I double click the outside edge, it includes the sharp edges in the selection. I don't know if the edge is incomplete or something, but I can't fix it. Please help me out.

All 3D programs do unexplainable things sometimes, you just have to learn how to fix it when/if it happens
