Unwrapping Anonymous 08/26/14(Tue)00:40 UTC+1 No.437903 Report

How the hell do I unwrap this shit? It's my first time unwrapping, it would be easier without the bridged part, but it has to be there, so...please help me

To be more clear, I know how to unwrap and the unwrap tool, I just don't know how to do that cause the two cylinders are bridged, so no cylindrical unwrapping, right?

Split the UV edges along where the rectangle connects to the cylinders. Split a UV edges down the length of the cylinders and along one of the rectangle's edges. Do an Unfold on it, done.

Is the piece shown in the OP one, solid mesh? Or is it 2 separate cylinder meshes and a bridge mesh?

If the latter, you could just UV map each piece individually, so your UV map would just map out the 2 separate cylinders and the bridge. Simple cylindrical projections and planar projections.

should take about 7 seconds.
