What's /3/s consensus on 3DS Max vs Maya?

After deciding to stop being a blender peasant I tried them both, and even though I'm going to be doing mostly architecture, it seems like 3DS Max's viewport is shit compared to Mayas


What does /3/ think of both or them, and which one has a clear advantage architecture wise?

It's not the program that matters. It's how you use it. Blender is shit tho, don't use it.

I'm more familiar with Maya, but from what I know, more people seem to use Max for Architectural stuff

Both are pretty darn good at what they can do (and they can do everything under the sun), it just depends on which one you're more comfortable working with and how well it fits into your workflow.
I prefer 3ds Max, because I like the interface better and it just clicked with me, that's about it.
