i do a mix of run/elliptical for 30 minutes 2 or 3 times a week, and lift weights 1 or 2 times a week. i swim for fun and hit tennis balls back and forth (not good enough for an actual game). i have a bad knee and it's hard to keep up with this but i still do. but i haven't lost more than 2 pounds for a few months.

Eat vegetables or fruit to fill the gap. Celery is great as it's basically water.

Drinking more water is great too for hunger and it raises metabolism.

More fruits and veggies, learn to cook. home cooked food has less calories, salt, fats and cholesterol than fast food and restaurant food.
