Pictures of capybaras weird me out. They always look so static, like they're taxidermied. Maybe it's the eyes.

Also they live in packs. Also they're on their way to become a urban pest the cute motherfuckers. Most of their predators have been driven away and they are left alone on the streams surrounding some large city and some smaller ones. Shit, last time I went to the zoo there were a shitload of capybaras, they lurk the area waiting for humans to leave, it seems. Last of all, it's their face. They just look so fucking chill, like they don't care about a thing. Or, alternatively, like smug motherfuckers who think they are sooo much better than you.

Too bad about that crab they have, though. It's the stuff of nightmares.

I'm seriously considering getting one of these. They're legal in my state, and I have a pool and time+money to care for it. They're basically the bearded dragon of rodents. Is this a good ides? They don't have too many special needs, and they seem really chill.
