I'm doing boxing 3 times/week and I was curious what can I do between gym workouts to enhance my performance. Someone told me to do "Barbara" or something, which is basically (20 pullups, 30 push-ups, 40 squats, 50 sit-ups)x5 without any rest I suppose. What do you think, is it good for a boxer?

Punch that person in the face, they're selling you crossfit as anything but an elaborate injury summoning ritual

And shadowbox and do technique drills. You're not even doing boxing 6x.

But wouldn't it be harmful doing it outside the gym? I mean, there's nobody to correct my mistakes and that's why I was thinking about going all physical. A bit of technique won't hurt I guess, but what else can I do besides running? I want to do some conditioning, improve my endurance/power, it's probably the only useful thing I can do alone and flawlessly.

If you're going to the gym 3x it's fine to shadowbox on your own as long as you don't start throwing looping haymakers.

Yes, it's possible to practice outside of the gym. No it's not perfect, but it helps you learn.

Bike for leg power and cardio without impact. Same with swimming. Do some handstand push ups. Get some resistance band stuff

I don't see bench presses and shoulder presses in there! Those actually increase punching power significantly. Also, you should try doing straight punches and uppercuts while holding dumbbells. The weight is up to you.

One arm-lateral pull pullbacks will also help in your ability to "pull punches,"

I'm not a boxer, though. I do have a boxing coach, however which is how I know some of these things. The best option really is to ask your coach.
