what kind of meal are you supposed to eat after an intense training session?
all my teammates are chugging down protein shakes but i dont have the money for that (and it seems kinda useless). ive heard some people eat lots of fruits after training but that seems like a complete waste, (why would you eat loads of energetic sugary food after spending so much energy when your body needs to shut down for a while)

Rice & beans with some fried eggs will do if it is just about the protein, chicken and rice is also fine. add some nuts and almonds, salad with good olive oil, a bit of fresh fish now and then, and some fresh curd. Try to balance your food and forgett the shakes.
