The main convention near me...
Anonymous 06/24/14(Tue)18:15 UTC+1 No.7634332 Report

The main convention near me just finished, and I'm inspired to cosplay for next year. For years I've always wanted to cosplay as Zero, so if I'm going to do this I feel I should go all out.

My main concern is the helmet. I might be inclined to drop £50 or so on the cloak and suit, but every helmet I've found is triple that at the very least. I'd like to try making it myself.

I have absolutely no experience with any kind of crafting, but I've got a whole year to learn, and I might be able to get some help from various people if I'm lucky. How should I go about this? Do you think it's feasible for a beginner if I put enough effort into it?

I'm sorry m8 but the cloak and suit are going to be wayyyy more than just £50, if you're commissioning. I've got no idea how to make a helmet, but you should realize you might be spending £180+ on this

what's your body type? Lelouch is my favorite character and I'll never be able to do him justice cause built to thick.

I found the cloak and suit on ebay for like £50, though it probably looks kind of tacky. If I can pull off making the helmet, making the suit and cloak would probably be the easy part.

I'm not Lelouch-tier anorexic but I think I'm thin enough to pull it off.
