Really satisfied with what I got, we use different ingredients with our candy.
I giggled a bit when I noticed that corn syrup is really used in everything.

What a weird selection he sent you. I've tried maybe half of that, it isn't really the best representation of whats common though.

I'd have sent peanut m&m's, skittles, snickers, jolly ranchers, starburst, regular sweet tarts, sour war heads, nerds, and a bag of those chewy circus peanuts for lols.

I'm intrigued by the big cherry thing though, I want to try one of those.

I'm a bit older and these things were the common candy in my youth, except for the sweet tarts, airheads, and birthday cake M&Ms but those just looked like fun. Most of the candy that you named (according to my internet research) are at least somewhat available in most European countries.

For me it's the thought that counts.
Perhaps these are just candies that he likes and thought that are worth sharing with me.

Half of those things are just compacted sugar (or even just plain sugar) with food coloring added and taste the exact same.

I would be interested in doing this as I'm an amerifat living in another country and I get packages from my mom every so often that contain some americlap sweets (the most recent one containing poptarts and birthday cake oreos.)

What does Australia have candy-wise anyone would be interested in? I like a lot of the cadbury stuff. I absolutely hate turkish delight but I know a lot of people that love the shit out of it

The first things I had when I got here were some caramello koala, freddo, tim tams, marvellous creations, crunchie, aero, and bueno
(and before anyone asks, kinder eggs are illegal to ship to america so don't ask for those)

I used to subscribe to a subscription box called skoshbox that sent me an assortment of Japanese treats every month. It was like $12 or so. Candy was hit or miss. God tier Japanese kitkats but also shit like pickled squid candy.

Might be something you guys want to look into, I enjoyed my time with it but I decided $12 a month for a chance at some possibly nasty as hell stuff wasn't my thing so I took the money I was spending there and put it towards a Pokemon subscription box.

TLDR: skoshbox for Japanese candy every month, others exists but I never used them

can·dy (knd)
n. pl. can·dies
1. A rich sweet confection made with sugar and often flavored or combined with fruits or nuts.
2. A piece of such a confection.

I'd have said Wacky Wafers too but Wonkafaggots discontinued them. :(

More classics no one will ever try again: Bar None (best candy bar ever made, period), Garbage Can, Mr. Bones, Summit Bars, Reese's Cookie cups, Razzles, PB Max, Nestle Alpine White.

Sodas: Surge, Pepsi Blue, Josta, Pepsi Vanilla, dnL, Fruitopia, Snapple Elements, Stewart's lemon Meringue Pie soda.

Circus Peanuts and Spearmint Leaves are things they give to kids they don't like here.

Still needs Maple Nut Goodies and for fuck's sake Pop Rocks. You people saying this is "dollar store stuff" he got are just retarded. Dollar store does not = shit stuff. I buy Lindt Linzor Truffles at our Dollar stores.
