Hey /diy/

I'm attempting a halfway sort of half booth for in house recording and doing it on the cheap. I have the materials but wondering what I should use to glue the acoustic foam to my metal basket? Spray on adhesive has failed.

Have you tried string?

Yup, temporarily - it didn't hold to well - kept slipping out especially round the corner bits. Appreciate your reply fellow anon

i would try some sort of cloth on one side of the basket covered in spray adhesive. then the foam on the other side.
that way the adhesive is holding the cloth to the foam not the foam to the wire.

zip ties.

They won't compromise the foams acoustic properties. especially if you just put them through on the corners.
