How do I fake my own death and...
Anonymous 05/06/14(Tue)22:00 UTC+1 No.634868 Report

How do I fake my own death and disappear, starting a new life? I have little funds, and only the bare necessities to live in the wilderness (small one-person tent, sleeping bag, knife, rope, tin can. I also have some matches) The part I can't figure out is how to get a job once everything cools down and I can come back out into the open (hopefully hundreds of miles away)
>>
Anonymous 05/06/14(Tue)22:12 UTC+1 No.634873 Report

Are you asking how to survive in the woods, how to fake your own death, or how to get a fake identity? These are all very different and very complex things.
>>
Anonymous 05/06/14(Tue)22:27 UTC+1 No.634876 Report

>>634873
Uhhh... I'd say all three, but you said they're all very complex. Which is kind of depressing. I already knew it was complex but hearing someone else say it just sort of validates your own fears.
>>
Anonymous 05/06/14(Tue)22:29 UTC+1 No.634878 Report

But, if you're poor (like me) doesn't faking your won death sort of make the other two a necessity? Unless you just want to live in the wilderness forever. At the very least, faking your own death and reinstating into society requires getting a new identity.

Just go to the graveyard and look for the grave of a person about the same age and gender as you. Assume their identity.

If someone died young, before they would have started receiving social security benefits, there won't be any federal records of their death, so you won't have any problems with passing e-verify checks for getting a job.

My hopes also were, once I get enough money saved up under the table, to go out in the wilderness and build a nice little cabin in a moderate climate near a large river and get some sort of microhydropower generator installed for electricity, and just walk to some local towns when I needed to use the internet. Make a nice farm with gardens and such and live off the land. I always thought that would be nice.

Anonymous 05/07/14(Wed)04:07 UTC+1 No.635002 Report

I live at my parents house, there's lots of useful food items I could take along with me, but it would have to go unnoticed because I MUST fake my death. Otherwise I will be pursued, though I'm not sure for how long. I really want to be able to take my laptop with me to check the news on my death, my pocket watch, my books, and some sentimental items, like my ocarina and precious things that my mother gave to me. Also, my TI-84 for entertainment (Calculator games ftw)

Rope, sunglasses, three bandaids, prescription grade pain pills, a pack of 4 double and 4 triple A batteries, a tegaderm film footlong transparent wound dressing, heatwraps, a medical grade transdermal pain patch with fentanyl (like 100x stronger than morphine), nails, a minihammer, medical tape, electrical tape, scotch tape, a pencil, anti-itching cream, a very large butterfly clip, a large pocket x-acto knife with 5 replacement blades (industrially sharpened), thread, a sewing kit, and measuring tape in travel size.

And I was hoping to live in around 15 miles from a rural city or something. Not sure if troll/bait, whatevs I'll bite.

There is no way to fake your death outside abruptly disappearing. That means you can't take anything with you. If sentimental things disappear with you then they will know that you are running away.

Clearly you are a child in regards to responsibility due to still living with your parents and your lack of resources. That beign said you will not be some sort of glorified vagrant or wanderer. You will be homeless. Go downtown, or to the shelter, and ask those guys how they did it. Then leave with nothing, interact with the least amount of people possible (including anyway that may have cameras) I suggest train-hopping, and travel to at least another timezone. Pick a nice little corner and make a big sign stating you'll work for food. Welcome to your new life.

Or you can get some responsibilty, get a job, and work on your shitty life. If you caused them, man up to it even if that means jail time. If its someone else fucking cut them out of your life and never look back, even if that means relocating.

What you are doing is running away like a child. Stop being a cunt.

>How do I fake my own death and disappear, starting a new life? I have little funds, and only the bare necessities to live in the wilderness (small one-person tent, sleeping bag, knife, rope, tin can. I also have some matches)
you're doing it wrong

(in the first world,,,) not one person in a thousand can walk out into the wilderness and truly survive off the land. it is far more difficult than you think to find food and shelter in the wild...... doubly so if people who own property nearby (who will see you) get offended by your poaching, trespassing and homesteading attempts.

as for 'how to start over'.... you buy a bus ticket to a new city, go there, bum around until you can find a job and a place to stay. Make up a new name and a story about running away from abusive parents. There is no "Rambo-ing" involved.
,,,,,,,
Also--STAY OFF THE INTERNET. if you want to disappear, the internet is over for you--you can't use it ever again. a LOT of wanted people get found now by various kinds of online searches by police, creditors, ect ect. all the sites you used to visit, you will tend to visit again. someone looking for you will be watching all the sites you used to visit, and looking for any new members that post the same way that you used to.

>and I have no way to get out of this Hell hole that is MURICA
um wat? you are proposing to try to live in the wilderness, and you think the USA is a 'hell-hole'?
:|
ummm,,,, good luck with whatever you do. you should prolly just get a one-room apt tho and try supporting yourself for a while (shoveling shit for minimum wage, but anyway). if your bank accounts and residence is separate from your parents, they can't bother you. if anyone else is after your bank accounts, then you can just work for cash as much as possible.

No one gives a fuck. All that matters is the numbers. So what if you get probation? It's easier than running away with zero mental equipment and zero skills and not a lot of smarts (or you wouldn't be asking the questions you do).

Just plead out, act contrite, take your punishment and move on with your life. You can always "run away" later if you want to start a new life, but the cops won't have any outstanding warrants on your ignorant ass.

People do crimes all the time. It's normal. You may like it.

If you're only facing a year or two its probably better just to serve it. If you proceed with this course of action you will either get caught and go away for a lot longer, die alone in the woods, or become a homeless person. Prison is probably preferable, especially if its minimum security.

If it was shoplifting ($200 bail) then just take a step back and think about what you're doing. You might even get probation.

Unfortunately, there's absolutely no way for me to avoid jail. I'm already on a pretrial intervention program for shoplifting. Plus a few other court dates are coming up, but i think most of them don't generally result in jail time. But I've read tons of stories about hermits just walking into the woods one day and never leaving.

Take the consequences of your actions, and when done, work up some cash from a job (Shit shoveling, if necessary), and go wherever you please. You are not tied to your parents. Hell, go to Australia, they have a work-holiday visa that you'd qualify for.

Just go to jail for a couple of months, get out and fucking grow up. You can get $20 from selling some games. At 23? Where's your car, your job, your fucking life? No wonder you shoplift.

If you do go out into the wilderness, remember that all those olden time folks had years of experience in farming and woodcraft by the time they were 16. You are a wet sack of sad that's going to fucking die of dysentery in the woods.

For that I had to live in my car which was absolutely shit, work 7 days a week to afford rent and initial essentials and sleep on the floor in a shitty house in a shitty neighbourhood. If you are just trying to leave all your friends and family behind, it's simple enough to just get up and go somewhere else.
Even a few hundred miles away would be more than enough that the odds of you bumping into anyone you know is virtually 0.
Get a new cell phone # and stop using your facebook/twitter/email/whatever account.
Simple as that.

Of course, if you have majorly fucked up and owe money or need to serve jail time or something... you are screwed and should just man up.

For $200 bail, you're not going to jail (unless you've done more than petty shoplifting and it's only a matter of time before they find out the full extent of it). In any case, you should research pro bono lawyers in your area. As irresponsible as it is to march triumphantly to your death in the woods, it's also irresponsible not to have a bit of legal assistance in a position such as yours.

OK, let's start with faking your death, then the identity, and the woods.

Realistically, you won't be able to fake your body. Therefore, you'd need to try for options that wouldn't leave a body. Off the top of my head, I'd say...

1. Drowning at sea.
this is a bit more complicated than it might seem, because you can't guarantee a third party boat youre using won't have surveillance on it, and you might get caught on some google maps type shit, to say nothing of how to actually get back to shore undetected

2. Pretend you got highwaymanned
for example, plan a trip to some remote town, ideally near many car-accessible routes of exit. you want the roads to be low tech so theres less likely to be surveillance, and lots of them so its hard to track your trajectory from there. about 1-2 hours from town by foot, take your car off-road, go through your things taking the valuables like a robber might, and leave by foot, making sure you dont leave any tracks. make yourself unrecognizable from afar, go into town, and find some way out of town (train not recommended - cameras everywhere!), like hitchhiking. when you think youve gone far enough, you can stop.

As for the identity, this is a bit more...holistic, but you need to find someone who can acquire a fake form of identification. realistically, youre not going to be able to reintegrate back into the system entirely, the connections youd need are probably too great. you just want some generic form of valid id - like a fake drivers license is probably easy to obtain. other than that, just remember that a silver tongue unlocks more doors than most keys.

as for the woods, it's probably going to be very difficult to find an area that has an ample supply of food for you to be able to live off of and is uninhabited. id cut this part out altogether tbh, itd probably be more cost effective to just stay in a ghetto somewhere.

If you check the Facebook page "Help Find Jaden Dremsa", his mother does happen to be a nurse. Moreover, OP claimed he lives in southeastern North America. Assuming he's not a self-centered americunt that mistakes his country for a whole continent, Waterboro would indeed be southeastern North America.

According to his parents, he had no criminal records. Then again, they also said the pictures weren't of their belongings, either.

Sounds about right judging by these people's writing skills and precarious use of language. Can't ask much from mentally handicapped townspeople, especially when they've lost their shit over a lost autistic kid. At least someone did report it, good job anon.

>ya fuck you buddy hes going out there and doing what very few people do.
You mean being a fucking delinquent, shop lifting and other criminal activities? Then running away because he can't face reality?

>what would you rather he do?
It would have been better that he didn't do the fucking shit he did to begin with. But of course we are too far from that. So the next best thing would be to not be such a fucking douche and face the consequences of his own stupidity instead of disappearing and believing it will solve his problems.

>live out an existence that is empty at best, miserable at worst?
How will escaping and leaving his identity to basically live like a bum not be empty and miserable as well? Nobody brought this on him but himself. Or do you believe that he shouldn't have to pay for committing crimes and should get a free pass for being a fucking idiot?

By looking at your next fucking stupid comment, it's obvious you do believe people should be able to get away with criminal activities...

>have fun living you life inside the box and sucking cops dicks you unintelligent, blind, lesser being.
Oh I see this explains a lot about you. I bet you're one of those little douche bags that draws the anarchy sign, thinks all cops are out to get you and that you're being pushed down by "the man." I on the other hand have the mentality of an adult and understand the effect of my consequences. You're no better than OP, if anything worse. Hope you end up dead like him.

Nothing new really, just that they're still looking. We're still not sure if it's OP and according to the screencap above Jaden's parents have denied that the pictures are of their belongings.
