No idea.

I see people posting complete shit that even claim that this is their job. Graphic Design is just a hobby of mine, and I'm still light years better than those people. Most of that stuff looks like what I did when I was 12 or something. I don't know who the fuck pays people to deliver shit like that.

alot of people that visit 4chan are young, so most likely the majority of posters on here are students, or very early on in their careers.

well because if they had real talent, they would be off selling it somewhere and not looking for the approval of neets. just kidding. this is one of the least shittier boards so i'm ok with it.

Not that guy but complexity does not good graphic design make.

Honestly, how could that be improved?

I like it, but the thumbnail makes the second line a bit hard to read. I seriously doubt it was designed for such viewing though.

I see credible posts from time to time so I'm still confident the shitters who actually bother posting their five minute work are unrepresentative.

>This.

Frankly I mostly come to GD because I like the shitty designs because it give me an incredible ego boost. However, I'm not against beginners, the shit they are doing now, I know I did the same shit in the beginning because you want to test out the software. And nothing is wrong in that, the first step is to be able to handle the tools I believe, the second is to start learning about the rules of design and typography, and when you know them in and out you are allowed to break them(but only if you know why you are breaking them).

And for those who goes: Are there rules in design!?
Yes, we have tons of them. It's perhaps more seen as principles but if you are a beginner you should follow them as rules.

Had to do a double-take, I couldn't actually read what that said until I concentrated on it.

The fact that you're really inconsistent with your borders is really bugging me. Shit like the small dent in the border between the G and the E...either go big or go home. It's not pronounced enough to make a difference in the image but it's not subtle enough to not be noticed. It's just noise.

Anyway, it's pretty good for a hobbyist. It's like how I can play a pretty passable Wonderwall on guitar. I wouldn't say that it's good though, you're a bit full of yourself.

This board suffers because it's full of people who "want to get into graphic design" and think browsing this board counts.

It's like how there are so many unfit people on /fit/. Posting on a fitness board gives the same pleasure sensation as actually exercising (without any of the work). Posting on a graphic design board is "close enough" to making art.

there is no right or wrong, only norms and standards.

pat yourself on the back for dismissing his deviation from the norms, fuck that stuff, we don't want any free-thinkers!
