Just took my weapon out to the desert this past weekend to pop its cherry and I encountered a malfunction. Almost every time I fired the weapon in semi auto I would experience a "two round burst" I was wondering if any of you /k/ommandoes had the same problem and if so, a solution too?
No I'm not firing with a loose grip and yes my disconnector and spring appear to be tip top.

I had an issue like that in basic with my M16. Pull the trigger, bang, release the trigger, bang again, that sounds like what you are experiencing. I was never told what exactly the problem was, but that sounds like what you are experiencing.

step one remove the fire control group from the rifle immediately. regardless of the fact that's a malfunction the ATF will say you made it a machine gun and throw you into federal prison. step two examine the trigger group components

Disconnector is fucked or you're accidentally bump firing.
