>phenomenology of spirit

I doubt that 90% of the people who ever cite this as a top read have even understood it.

But I'm sure you'll lie and say that you have. You are on /lit/ after all..

It's not a matter of understanding, brother. You see, I had previously read Nietzsche and I thought it had been quite a slap for my mind. But when I finished Hegel I knew Nietzsche was nothing but a caress. Hegel literally requires a participation that is more than reading, more than agreeing/disagreeing.
Sometimes you can't understand him, especially in the preface - but the work and the Hegelian logic itself makes your effort indispensable.
Sometimes you feel like he's saying what you have feel for ages - and this is too is a fundamental part of the journey.
Now I'm posting just for the sake of writing, but I can assure that the Phenomenology - even though now I see its faults - has been a complete revolution in my intellectual life

Is posting "I bet no one even GETS Hegel!" your super cool special move to demonstrate anonymously to a forum of anonymous people that you do get Hegel?

Damn. Where do we go from here? Do we just flood you with replies of Congrats for being the only one who gets Hegel?

>Cain and Abel - Archer
>The Eldest - Paolini
Though there were some fanfics that had a strongest impact on me, these are my top 3 *books*
