The general thread is dead, and I'm kind of in a hurry because I want to play outside with a new bike in this amazing weather.

I found two mountainbikes that fit my needs (commuting 15 miles a day, and just fooling around in the forests and stuff. And mind you, it's a Dutch forest, so we have normal roads over there).

I've never spend this much money on an actual bike, so I'd really appreciate it if you guys can check if there are big differences between the two competitors.
If I go for the Kreidler, I can enjoy it today. But as I said, I don't know enough about bikes to 'just go for it' without advice.

The Kreidler is slightly more modern and very slightly nicer. 650b, tapered headset, Shimano hydraulics.

The Felt would be less expensive to upgrade, though. 26er forks and wheelsets are dirt cheap. If you are going to be riding real singletrack that may be a consideration, otherwise get the Kreidler and go ride.

the kreidler does not have a tapered headtube. look at the specifications 1 1/8" headset. That being said, the bikes are nearly the same. Same fork, same crankset, similar brakes. The only differences are the wheel size and the derailleurs. Kreidler has the better wheel size, felt has better components.

i would go with the Kreidler personally. Better color scheme, better wheel size. and the difference in components wouldn't really be noticeable. and you could always upgrade that down the road anyways.
