You're going to have a hard time finding performance tires under 16". TireRack is a good place to research since it lets you search a ton of makes by size and specs and has customer reviews. I've bought from them but I don't think it's the "best," depends where you live and where you can get the best deals.

They mount, balance, and install TPMS. All you have to do is take 'em out of the box and put them on the car.

BFG Rival
Bridgestone RE-11
Federal 595 RS-R

Hankook RS-3s don't come in 205/50/15, unfortunately. If you're looking for track rubber, Nitto NT-01 and Maxxis RC-1 are the best options.

15" and 18" are the best wheels sizes for tire choice. 19" and 20" aren't bad, either. 16" and 17" are shit.

What car?

Get your tires from tire rack. But first get wider wheels if your class allows it.

I sure love my Nissin Skyline and my Mazder RX-7. I have this cool dash cover that's purple velour colour on the Mazder.

Anyone have any opinions on Nitro NT-05 vs Falken Azeni RT-615K in 205/50-15? My two best options from discount tire direct (Ecsta XS sucks in temps below 80F ambient). I know Nitro's parent company is Toyo and Falken's is Dunlop/Goodyear (supposedly Azenis use Direzza ZII compound, unsure about Nittos maybe similar compound to T1Rs?)

*Nitto not Nitro. Fucking auto correct.

Also Discount Tire Direct is pretty competitive to TireRack one you factor in Shipping. They have a smaller selection though. They do sell a few 15x7.5 Koenigs OP for cheap, like $80-90 a wheel shipped

>15" and 18" are the best wheels sizes for tire choice.

There's shit selection for 15's unless you want to keep it under 225's.

Pretty much anything 225 or wider is a drag radial or classic car "cruiser" tire.

Like everyone else says, 205/50r15 is going to be your best bet for a common performance tire size on those rims.

If you have enough clearance, you could run 225/45. Go any wider than that and you'll want wider rims.

I'm a huge fan of the Dunlop Direzza family, myself, but it's all
>opinions

Everyone's going to say Tire Rack, and I agree that it's a great place to start. If you're in the US, Discount Tire can get a lot of the same tires as Tire Rack, and you don't have to pay shipping if you order them direct to a store. Of course, their website and product browser is a complete piece of shit, so find the tire you want on Tire Rack first and then check to see if Discount carries it.
