Think this is more /o/ than /g/. I've got a shitty 1999 scenic with a stock CD player with no aux on it. If I buy a new CD player with aux will it work? Also I'm wondering if I'd still be able to control the CD player from around the steering wheel, for ease while driving.

Yes the cd player's aux would work, and no, any steering wheel controls for the original player won't work.

The current CD player in there currently is a aftermarket JVC one bought years ago. Just remembered that the dash display doesn't work with it but the steering controls do.

you'll need the stalk adapter for the harness to get the wheel controls to work

Well, that depends on the aftermarket cd player (perhaps there is one that works perfectly) but it's more difficult to add an aux music entry than a wheel satellite control port.

Don't be a jew, I have a 2000 megane scenic with CD player and I usually go to a walmart and buy CD-Rs if you install a new cd player the value of the car will decrease because you're gonna fuck up the steering control.
