Enjoy you fucking pain
I used a kinda open sandal until the soles went the other month, the had sides and toes to them, but even then they let stones in.

The shit in your pic will let stones in and get stuck in mud and rocks and come straight off your feet. Fucking ridicules idea for /out/ing, apart from water parks, and if you are going to water parks and you post on out, you need to be shot.

The only people who should be wearing clogs are the dutch and chefs.

I don't think you're either.

If you're gonna wear gay shoes at least have the decency to not half-ass it. Just come out of your closet and get the Crocs.

I use crocs while at camp and going through deep water. They work great.

Clogs are outdoors slippers. You do not use them if you're going anywhere, only around the house. You can take a walk in them if you must, but sneakers are infinitely more useful for actual walking. The one thing these have going for them is being easy to put on and off.

So they're like flip flops but take up more room in your backpack. Gotcha.

Well, they do have one thing flipflops don't: sole protection. The soles are thick, sometimes made out of wood. Step on glass with some flipflops and your feet are just slightly less fucked than if you were barefoot. With clogs, you can now crush glass bottles and not give a singular fuck.

I like how one of the anons here was dissing crocs even though they are amazing as camp shoes after a long hike/climb and weigh absolutely nothing.

I can't tell you how many times a day I step on glass bottles with my flip-flops, wishing I had a protective pair of clogs instead.

I wear flip flops quite a bit, so I buy good ones. Haven't had a puncture that wouldn't also have punctured another type of shoe. I'm ok with sandals.

Why would you wear these outdoors?Seriously.

I've been with people like you in the woods a few times. I will leave your ass and feel no sympathy EVERY SINGLE TIME you stop to unwedge a stick, unpoke a holly leaf, stub a toe, cry about a cut or get a bug inside your stupid open rubber shoes. This goes for the flip flop and sandal community too.

The only acceptable useage of these MIGHT be water shoes. I wouldn't mind using them to wade around in a stream or bay. I won't hate on them too much around camp either, but I'd still go with something else.

I hate these shoes. They also look like blister machines.

Flip-flops FTW when you have to exit the tent and pee at four in the morning and don't want to wake everybody else up.

I camp innadesert and elsewhere with my wife and kids. I don't mind being barefoot, but some paces we go have cactus and grassburrs. Easier to have them than pull cactus thorns in the dark.

I had to come into this thread to see if anyone mentioned Crocs.
Thank you for not disappointing me.
