Fashion Photography Revisited Anonymous 07/22/14(Tue)20:50 UTC+1 No.2369357 Report

I posted here some earlier work, and I want some feedback on how I'm doing now, and if you see some improvements from what I was posting before. Tell me what you think.

The lighting is wrong, otherwise not a bad pic.

Subject is too light and there's some "glow" that makes it look pretty 80s, and the framing is WAY too tight by her face. It's pretty uncomfortable to look at. Nice triangles in the arms, but I want something more dynamic with her legs. Maybe a knee pushing forward to give some definition to the dress. Facial expression is a bit too tense to be very fashion. She looks uncomfortable, especially with the closed eyes and the mouth.

Great pose (for fashion) but the light is really making this look amateur. Not enough contrast or pop at all. You should also clean up the details in the image, like clone out the board top right, and the distracting bits on the floor. Overall though, the light is just too bland to be saved, so I wouldn't waste my time.

That's it? Two photos?

OP here, here's some more of my more recent work. It's a slow board, so I was just giving some time to get some responses.

The first pic was very recent, and the second is fairly old... like 6 months or so. This pic is also recent.

OP, work on your lighting. Seriously. This is all much too flat and directionless. The photos have no pop whatsoever.
