Get an E-M5 or E-M10.

Nope. It's the most gimped of G-series cameras, and the G-series was never good - and never really small - to begin with. Get a lolympus pen.

>suggesting £500 cameras to a guy who asks about a £150 one
typical /p/.

Are you kidding? You can get used E-M5s for under $500.

- Smaller
- Image stabilization with all lenses
- Even the cheapest models still retain the GUI and customization of high-end models
- If you manage to get an E-PM2, much better sensor

I meant why was it bad? I would go for the E-M5 as I was looking at that before but money is not in my favour at the minute. Think im gonna sell all my current stuff and start again on M4/3 (blasphemy, I know). I just want smaller, lighter - even if a slight compromise in IQ etc.

It's not "bad", it's just subpar on all accounts, be it size, image quality, UI, design, video capabilities, etc. While there are no crippling weaknesses, everything it can do can be done better by other m4/3 cameras.

Not necessarily, that's a pretty deep discount. But an equivalent of £150 will get you a used E-PM2 body on keh.
